Greetings...
I fear I may need help... I spend ages thinking of the things I need to do and worrying about not doing them... This means that I don't enjoy my 'down time"
Perhaps a good declutter, tidy and clean will give me some head space.
Can I start buy claiming from yesterday...
1-3 christmas decorations
4 Christmas cards into recycling
I think I'll go for 2019 in 2019.
I'm going to do the hanger thingy for my wardrobe
Plus start a present draw.. I do like a good 're gift'.
Here's to less stuff more head space# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

I made a fairly good start in 2018 but 2019 is THE YEAR that I finally get to grips with a full declutter - I would like to have NO rooms/cupboards/drawers of Doom & I would like to have a revamped bathroom & fully decorated houseMy DH is going to be very busy :rotfl:
Plenty of options available on numbering the clutter out
2019 in 2019 or 52 in 52 weeks even 365 in 365 days & if you are feeling really adventurous a la basketcase - you can weigh the clutter out:D
Whichever you choose or you may choose not to number, we would love to hear both your success stories & your ways/methods of decluttering - they may not have worked for you but they may work for someone else
I am hoping that everyone who posted on the 2018 thread will also post on the 2019 threadWelcome one and all and happy decluttering!
MrsSD
P.S. Hope this works as it is my very first attempt at starting a Thread
Many thanks0 -
How do I join, I have so much clutter and no storage?
Many thanks
Hi NataleS.Welcome to publicly supportive thread. You have already joined us.Simply start decluttering, and pop in here every now and again to let us know how you are going.A lot of us list and post what we declutter, other people find that slows them down,so simply guesstimate how much they have let go of.As long as stuff is leaving the house (donation, recycle, binning),then you are winning.
And don't forget to drop in here every now and again to let us know how you are going. We are all very [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] interested
Good luckSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Still haven't had time to read thread but have decluttered.
1-3 various work journals shredded.
4. Book to book bank.
5-8 seed catalogues recycled.
That's some for this year.
I will have to start making more difficult decisions about what to keep soon.0 -
Morning all! At my desk readying myself to procrastinate again
5. More Christmas cards into the charity recycling bag.
6. Old magazine into the recycling bin.0 -
Morning everyone......and the decluttering has started........
*1 Christmas cards in recycling
*2 foil tray found by accident in the back of the cupboard-recycling
*3 so much cardboard-recycling
*4 plastic wrappings -recycling point in supermarket
*5 tin of shortbread -given for Christmas. Don't want to be ungrateful but don't really eat shortbread
so donated for a charity raffle
*6 found a small box of chocolates and 2 selection boxes I forgot I had bought in case no one did
buy us chocolates-people did so the ones I bought are now in starving students bag ready for the
new start of uni where either DD or BF will locust them!
*7 decanted posh biscuits into general biscuit tin- posh biscuit tin now in recycling
*8 posh smellie box into recycling. I might have kept it if smellie hadn't leaked in it and I already have one that I
decided to keep and refill last year.
More to do today and more to add to the above, just cant remember the extra bits I have done so farDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
