DD was having an unheard of afternoon nap so I started sorting through the ridiculous number of cleaning products. A bottle of cleaner for blinds (we don't have blinds) and 2 bottles of glass cleaner never used, loads of duplicates and on such a high shelf we never use them.
Then DD woke and pushed me to keep going! Tackled one of the drawers of doom and used some small boxes from the recycling to put all the batteries, candles, lightbulbs etc.
Kept going all afternoon and just have two drawers and 2 shelves of a cupboard left to do.
I have moved stuff around so all pans are together, baking stuff all together etc. OH hates me changing it around but it made no sense before.
We've always complained that we don't have enough storage space in our kitchen (it's very badly designed) but it's really not that bad once you sort it. Also once you give up stupid gadgets you never use and cheese knives when we've been vegan for 2 years! Next door spent months having an extension and new kitchen put in but I really don't think it's necessary. The only change I'd love to make is to find a way to fit the fridge freezer in the kitchen as it's in the conservatory but I think it's impossible unless we change the whole layout.Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

I need to get rid of my painting clothes! We're constantly keeping old clothes for "painting" then forgetting and using something else. Need to get one set and find a designated space!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

I took another bag of books to the charity shop today and also did a declutter of the fridge door and kitchen notice board. Lots went in the recycling there. You stop noticing what's in front of your face. I had a 2017 calendar on the fridge. 😁0

It’s my week off work & so far I’ve done absolutely naff all.. I’m grumpity about it and in turn now feeling guilty and despondent..
Grr grrr grrrrrrrr
Humph.. well, a new day will dawn.. I am determined to do SOMETHING.. even if it’s just mow the lawn..
Think I really have had a kind of melt down, the usual kind, easy going me is snippy, short, growly and thinking mean thoughts.. perhaps I just need this phase to work out what’s really bothering me..:o
Oops.. that was a ranty mess.. Thankoo for letting me offload.."There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -
No sorting/decluttering today. But tooklamb meat off the breast of lamb, minced it And then made a moussaka for hubby's dinner and tomorrow's dinner (plus three meals to freeze). I went out for lunch with friend's and decluttered a nice Italian meal. (Ladies that lunch - approximately four times a year).2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Suffering with lurgy here so delegating tasks! Son's room has had wallpaper stripped (by son) and is ready to paint. He's emptied his clothing but that ended up being sorted in my room. I've just sat and folded the CS stuff and another bag of old uniform. His school doesn't have a second hand shop to donate to which is annoying and I'm finding the Facebook selling sites too much hassle at the moment
Will think about what to do with the uniform when I'm better. Have also managed to tidy all the lotions and potions in our en suite which will hopefully surprise my parents when they visit.MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000
