One bag taken to the tip of clothes that our daughter has grown out of. Along with a old mobile phone which should have been thrown out and doesn't switch on anymore. Bit by bit we will get there...

Forgot to mention, I made a soup late last night - actually at 4:00 a.m. :o Used lo Somerset Chicken & lo boiled potatoes & added some soured cream, some chicken stock & a large tin of sweetcorn. Has been heated up, zizzed for 15 seconds & is now about to be consumed as a late lunch with some crusty bread :D I have had a quick flurry of activity & cleared the top of the large wall unit, dusted, wiped & tidied 10 cubby holes :D only 22 cubby holes to go  & 8 drawers

Little bit of sorting done - moved some stuff around and made the kitchen look bigger....not quite sure how but I'm happy :D

Decluttering a bottle of Prosecco to a friend who is moving house (a long way from Yorkshire to Somerset), along with the presents I bought for their kids. We're going to their leaving party tomorrow so can hand it all over then - nice to hand something on to someone who will appreciate it. We don't drink Prosecco yet we seem to accumulate bottles of the stuff....we have 2 more in the cupboard waiting for school raffles :rotfl:

Thanks Mrs SD,you are very kind. I had a light bulb moment about clutter as a protective wall that set me off. Well done on the weight loss. A title could be 'Mind Over Matter - A practical decluttering Guide.' :)

No decluttering as yet today but two big bags of rags in the car for tomorrow at the CS.
