    *Waves feebly from sofa*

Flaring again; even a trip from lounge to bathroom leaves me exhausted and breathless.:(
Haven't left the house or spoken to a living soul apart from Mr Wolf for an entire week.

Hoping it improves sharpish; I have to visit town for f&v tomorrow, and I have 2 dogs arriving Saturday.

    Sleep well dear Kelpie. x
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Well the cinema didn't happen because I forgot, old age has not done my brain any favours. :(

    Instead of the cinema I;
Set the robot off to clean both DDs bedroom and the landing.
    Dusted the master bedroom.
    Mopped the utility room floor.
Did the dailies plus a few loads of washing (towels, door mats etc)
Took the pony driving for a couple of hours.

Hope flyladies start to feel better soon. x

Having cursed my way through the bluetit you have my sympathy with the knitted men.

Paid stuff done. Phone call received from Dad and called to have a coffee with him on my way home from work. I've cooked tea and put the bin out

Wish we are kindred spirits: you can never have too many notebooks. And writing and planning is a wondrous pastime - I'm not so good at the actual 'doing' unfortunately :o

Tea for DD and I was an M&S Roast Turkey dinner each - original price £4.50 each - YS to 45p!
DS (who couldn't decide what he wanted) is having a 30p chicken dinner and there's one more of those in the freezer. Bit less of a bargain as reduced from £2.70.
    My bedroom cleaned.

Wardrobe refilled with Joe Browns delights.. and Next.. still need some leggings from there but there were none in the sales.. Theirs are so much nicer than the Dorothy Perkins ones which went bobbly in no time.. I've had the Next ones 8 years and they still look like new! I figured OH owed me some after they all went out on my birthday and left me home alone to clean the house.. MIL gave me £100 for christmas too.. and my mother £40 for my birthday.. so I'm buying undies too.

Christmas shopping started for next year..

I'm so tired today!!! I might get small to bed and follow her under the duvet.. just to hit home the message to OH.. he will learn!!

    Hello flyladies

    I'm back, I think...

Getting Christmas out of the way then I'll be back on board. Thanks Valli for checking up on me xxx
  • I'm being very good.

Universal credit (a rare highlight that very occasionally works to put a few extra quid in the bank) made the most of my being paid on the Friday instead on Sunday in November and the same again this month.

Last month's entitlement was £2. This month's was the heady riches of 1p.

Himself grumbled about why it's so low and how they must have screwed it up. Well, no, they haven't. They always do the get paid on the Friday rather than the Sunday = you've doubled your salary, I've had a minuscule pay rise, from which they deduct over 60% and, quite frankly, IF YOU GOT OFF YOUR ARZE AND GOT A F*CKING JOB, NO MATTER HOW LOW PAID, IT WOULDN'T BE A F*CKING PROBLEM NOW, WOULD IT?

I mumbled something about having a payrise which obviously takes us to 1p below the earnings limit, so the claim will probably be cancelled in the New Year and we'll have to be very careful.

I shall save the next going ballistic at him for when I go back to work (and likely find that I'm being made redundant this summer on the first day back) and he makes no effort to even lie about attempting to find gainful employment. Mainly because I don't want to be trapped in the house with him feeling all hard done by afterwards.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
