    We're just back from the village pub where we had a birthday meal for DS. We're all stuffed. I've booked to go again for Sunday lunch next weekend to celebrate Dad's birthday - he's 84 on 4th Jan.

    Paid stuff tomorrow. Think I'll curl up with my book which I've nearly finished reading. It can then be passed on to Dad. I have two bags of books ready for the cs - and DS has said the football boots that hurt his toes can go too.

    Every little helps :)
