  • LOL nice to see Red-Squirrel drop the ball on this thread. Shame he didn't have the good sense to quietly let it drop. I'm buying him a shovel for Christmas; he appears to like digging holes :-)

I know what you say Sandra, I have seen this poster do it before.

I will try and not pass any negative comment, other than to wish him/her a Merry Christmas. If anything I feel sorry for folk whose only vent / outlet is behaving in such a way. Genuinely, and I am not taking the pee.

He doesn't buy for many people, and I am the only person he knows with a PS4, so yeah there is maybe a 0.1% chance it is not mine, but the odds are very slim

Sadly, this poster has a history of misquoting people and here he has not just done this to you but others on this thread. He takes some kind of twisted enjoyment by stirring up threads possibly because he has no real life of his own. He has done it to me and others on other threads. I usually ignore him but thought he has gone too far on a perfectly good, nice thread about Christmas and a poster asking for opinions and not misquotes as by this poster. He is also quick to mock posters and on the odd occasion he is caught out and more than one poster speaks out against him, he tries to make a joke out of it.:( Thankfully, many will be able to see through him soon.

    Happy Christmas. :)

You seem to know an awful lot about another poster considering you've only been a member of MSE for a month...

Please stop defending the indefensible and trashing other peoples threads as you do on mine.
He has a record of doing it to me and at least another couple of posters on this thread have said it. Now stop digging a hole for yourself. As you correctly stated I've not been here for long be very easy to spot the little gangs.

There is an ignore button on the site I learnt today but decided against using that but will just ignore those that in my judgement are out to cause trouble and there are few other's I'm ignoring and a couple of those have second accounts, these were not used for a good 6 to eight months then post between then about 20 posts all aimed at twisting what I was saying and I'm not referring to you in this instance

Sorry OP, as you can see those that twist other peoples posts have a following as I said. Nothing sensible to contribute to the thread but just support the indefensible., and after this post, there will be no other response here, so ATB

Happy Christmas to all and that includes you as I'm a nice poster like most posters:)

I really am not defending the 'undefensible".

You appear to have taken against a particular poster.
As a long time member, I have not noticed this poster 'trashing other people threads' as you allege.

I am not 'digging a hole for myself'.

I'm not a member of any gang (or clique) and I'm not following anyone.

FTR, a thread that you start on a public forum is not 'yours'.

so why have you posted twice since?

All the best. :money: :money: :money:

An agenda of being grateful for the thoughtfulness of people's gifts to you and not expecting that you should be able to order what you want from them?

I'm ok with that agenda, I have to say! :D

If I was you I would have accepted I got it wrong and apologised to the op rather than being constantly horrid to him when he didn't warrant that.

Op merry Xmas to you and yours

    Happy Christmas. :)
