I have an ISA with III but I don't understand the charges.

It says here "£10 flat fee per deal - for UK Stocks, ETFs and Investment Trusts". This is fine.

If I want to buy shares from LLOY, I see this:



What does this GBP0.1 at the end mean? Is it another kind of fee? Is it instead of or on top of the £10?

0.1 is the worth of the share in theory. 31.65p is the market based price, shares are only worth what others will pay for them. You cannot exchange them for anything on demand from Lloyds

Normal fees are stamp duty which I think an ISA does have to pay ? 0.5% on almost all normal shares is due but not investment trusts like JII or an ADR like BNC

There is no other fee unless you are a richy rich dealing over 10k in one go

The Halifax have recently upgraded their website.
The end result is that their online sharebuilder..is no longer online.So I cannot view my portfolio..I cannot change my monthly share selection..I cannot amend my monthly payments..so it really is a good upgrade.I have complained..and they may have it set and working again next year.It was a good way to buy shares over several years.So for now I have no idea how my portfolio is doing and should I want to know no doubt I will have to ring up..and we all know how long that will take.
