Welcome to Januarys bring your lunch to work, hopefully Spring is just around the corner :D

Feel free to post what you're having/planning/eating for lunch as this may give others a idea of what to make and I'm always up for inspiration.

There are 23 working days up for grabs, if you are unfortunate to be working New Years Day.

Let me know if you want to join in and I'll add you to the list on the next post.

Happy New Year and here's to a frugal 2019.

If you haven’t already, join the forum to join in the challenge.

  • Only 21 days for me this month as I don't go back to work until the 2nd Jan and I'm off for a hospital appointment with the hubby on the 4th so I am holiday that day.

    But it is still December!
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Hi there could I join in please, I’m going to aim high and go for 19 days (I work from home one day a week) I spent far too much on food at work last year and this needs to change.
Worrying won't stop bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.

Ooh, may I join? School doesn't start til the 8th, so I should make 18.
I am So Lucky, my stay at home husband is a great cook & I routinely tote a filled sistema mug into the office & microwave it there.
Stew, curry, chilli, last night's leftovers - it's all good food next lunchtime! There are all sorts of temptations around, but by eating home cooking, it is just so much easier not to go for a stroll through expensive city stores!
