Was there any reason for them to know, (or suspect), that you were a BB holder? You state that the car was parked in your usual disabled bay, what do you mean by that?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

there is a parking bay near my rear bedroom window where i have parked since taking occupancy, it is not a reserved bay,
was there reason for them to know i was a BB holder? if they had been doing their job correctly then yes, they would have seen the vehicle parked in the same place displaying a BB for years

Parking Ticketing Limited do self ticketing (they call it DIY Ticketing). Given the brief period the vehicle was left unattended and the fact it's a residential rather than commercial parking I wouldn't be surprised if the OP was ticketed by one of their neighbours.

Amazing what some people will do for a little top up to their pension.
You will receive a client rebate with the DIY service, every time a parking charge is paid we will return a rebate of £20.00. This is returned to you monthly per paid parking charge, providing a return on the signage costs and in most cases a small profit depending on the severity of the parking issues.

To the contrary, Johno100 is an experienced regular and self-ticketing in residential complexes can be a common (and nasty) occurrence. Suggest you do just a little bit of gentle 'digging'.

How often does a PTL 'warden' come around the complex to check cars and issue tickets? Is he/she dressed in a PTL liveried jacket/overcoat?

When did you last see them?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    mc303 - they are contributing.
Pointing out the chances are beyond likely tht it was a neighbour self ticketing.
