    Hi,
I am new to this tesco thingy. Do i go into my tescos, find some rump steak that has £7.98 per kg on pack, £7.58 sign on shelf. Go through the till with several packs, making sure the receipt price is that of whats on the meat.
Go straight to customer services, asking for a refund and the meat because they overcharged me on the price of the meat (the label was cheaper)?
If this is correct, a trip out might be in order :)
    Thanks

    I've been Money Tipped!
And get the BBQ out too as they'll be an awful lot of free meat to eat.

    Have fun!

Watch out though - yesterday picked up 2 roast in the bag chickens (butter basted) - shelf price £2.99 each but £3.99 on the product. Went through the checkout at £2.99. To make matters worse 'not suitable for home freezing.

Still got 2 medum packs of chicken drumsticks priced £1.09 per whatever, 91p on shelf and 50 points each on organic oven chips, frozen peas and burgers.

Just got back from Tesco and managed to bag my first freebie :j After scouring the shelves for misprices I noticed that Tescos Value chicken breasts were £5.98 per kg on the shelf edge label and £6.52 on the packs. So I bought 4 and went to CS with all the advice from here and my script in mind, but the lady was really nice, went off to check, came back and apologised and gave me a refund and the chicken. So £23.38 refund for me and a BBQ at the weekend!

I always check the items on one of the self scan price check points to make sure they really are going to overcharge me:).

I bagged my first Tesco freebee too!
Got 3 pork joints totalling £19!

Im sure the CS person wondered what a 18yr old wanted 3 big pork joints for.

There was 3p difference between the SEL (shelf edge label) and the price on the meat, but thats enough to warrant the policy. At first she tried to work out how much the meat was at the SEL price to refund the difference. After i told her about the policy, which she confirmed with another member of stuff, i got my refund for £19.26.

Im well chuffed, shame though in my store the rump steak was properly priced. I wanted a load of that.
I noticed the turkey was the wrong price too but in our house no one really likes turkey so i didnt get any of that.

Thanks to all that helped me bargain me'pork!

Thanks to all you good folk on here i have saved a bit now and then.
I will try and give a bit back.I found today in my local Tesco (Norwich )the following:

FRESH BRITISH RUMP STEAK LARGE price on shelf £3.17 per pound.

The price on the pack £3.82 per pound.I had 5 of these and proudly marched to the C.S. desk for my refund etc.The lady there said "I suppose you are one of those people that go around all the supermarkets looking for mistakes"

I replied "No not all of them ONLY TESCOS" that went down like a lead balloon with her hahahaha

Take a look at your local and FILL YER BOOTS

Im going to another Tesco's on Sat, so cheers for that. Im not bothered personally, but my little brother simply refuses to take me to Tesco Middlebrook for freebies, he insists we go to Walkden which is a 20min drive away lol. Ive got my little notebook out and will be doing some real shopping too.. but checking the prices as I go of course :D
