aint_life_great wrote:Just got 2 packs of Tesco healthy living turkey breast quick cook steaks marked at £7.22 on pack but yellow promo sticker on shelf said they were reduced to £5.99 kg, very pleased with myself as I usually am only brave enough to get 1, but listening to you guys getting 6 I thought I'd work my way up!! Woman on CS took ages (but not for any reason) she handed me them back with the £7.01 and I looked surprised when she said I could have a refund & keep them!! Hope you manage this bargain too!
Also found these today, and had to convince the c/s of their policy! It was quite hard work, they certainly are not keen to let you have refund and item.0 -
I have been to my local Tesco's 4 times, I have ended up with 8 packs of chicken thighs, 8 packs of chicken drumsticks, £16 worth of pork joints and a packet of quick cook turkey. On the first occasion I went in I went to the shelf with them and they removed the shelf price for the thighs, went in the next day and some clown had put it back, it was the same woman on CS, she could not belive it!! Very good though, and quite unbelievably somebody had done it again today , same woman again on CS. She waves at me now when I go in, she finds it quite funny ! I have volunteered to be a mystery shopper!!!Up the Rams !!0

Does this include online shopping pricing errors?
I mean when I addTesco Barbeque 10 Prawn Party Skewers 250g
and it's meant to be 2 for £5.00, it still appears to charge 2 x £2.98I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.0 -
i have a similar experiance of that... i actually WORK for tesco.. stocking out the tea and coffee, homebake and organics section overnight.
For the last about 8 weeks ive been having a running battle between myself and the stock control and price intergrity depts over getting the correct pricing labels for the Typhoo flavoured teas!! The price marked packs say 39p trial price.. the shelf edge says 80p.. ive removed labels.. told both depts (both deal with labels) ... printed new labels myself...blah blah blah but u can virtually guarntee every night i go in the label will be missing or an 80p label will have appeared again.
i have checked (as a customer) with head office and if a price is marked on the product by the manufacturer it should be sold at that price... SOOOOOoooo if u check your tea and coffee aisles MSE's look out for trial priced boxes of typhoo speciality teas! See what price the shelves are marked up at.. might get a bargain0 -

what are these joey vouchers ?0

Vouchers for £3 of the Joey DVD Box Set that are on the side of certain packs of Nestle cereals - Fitnesse, Fruitful, Shredded Wheat etc.
I have used these off my shopping in Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys.
I note that Tesco has Fitnesse, Choco Shreddies, Cookie Crisp and Bite Size Shredded Wheat on BOGOF but none of the ones in our local have the coupons on. I even tried looking at the back in case some were left but no luck.
I picked up the last two from my local Asda on Saturday but still have a stack of them from boxes of Fruitful that I got out of Sainsburys when it was BOGOF a few weeks ago and I part paid for them with Joey coupons !!!Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0 -

I assume the policy is the same - but the way the online store works is that the original price shows up in your shopping basket but the multisaves etc are taken off on delivery (it does tell you that your shopping basket total is BEFORE BOGOFS multisaves etc have been worked out) this means that you can getthe shopping total pastthe magic £50 or £75 mark for using your codes without actually spending that amount. If they have overcharged you on your receipt on delivery THEN i would assum a quick phone call to customer servies would get a full refund of the product plus you would get to keep them.0
