Just got 2 packs of Tesco healthy living turkey breast quick cook steaks marked at £7.22 on pack but yellow promo sticker on shelf said they were reduced to £5.99 kg, very pleased with myself as I usually am only brave enough to get 1, but listening to you guys getting 6 I thought I'd work my way up!! Woman on CS took ages (but not for any reason) she handed me them back with the £7.01 and I looked surprised when she said I could have a refund & keep them!! Hope you manage this bargain too!0

Ah yes, I too spotted this and took them along to the CS desk after paying, however after being fobbed off my a CS rep, I asked to speak with his manager. She arrived (20 mins after arriving at the desk) and said that as the label (indicating the cheaper price), didn't say 'Quick Cook', I therefore couldn't have a refund as it didn't match the product. She simply said that some customer has plonked the steaks down in the wrong section.
Despite reasoning with her, she would NOT refund and replace.
I did, however, manage to get a refund on a Special Buy Whole Chicken.0 -

Keeping everything crossed for when I go into Tesco later today. I have an extra 200 points voucher for spending £8 on Healthy Living products so finding this overprice would be excellent

Sorry off thread but I had to go back to Tesco today to try another Joey voucher. It did scan!!! I wasnt watching closely yesterday but that's what she said. So maybe she didnt even try it. Probably to try and stop me using it again, perhaps being a jobsworth. I have had them refused in the past, which is fine, as I just dont go to that person again but that was an unusual one!
Thanks to everyone for confirming this. What goes around - comes around

Was watching this thread yesterday afternoon and thought i'd nip into my local Tesco Extra (Eastville Bristol) to have a look at this bounty of possible pricing errors. Coudn't see anything on steak as such, was about to go when I noticed Tesco Finest beef brisket with basting fat, shelf edged label said £6.69kg, pack said £6.99kg. Several minutes later, and a visit back to the shelf to prove my point, and I was a freezer drawer full of top quality beef the richer! And to think i'm one of these people who shys away from using too many coupons in case I get stopped, this was great!0

Just got another pack of chicken thighs refunded with the 99p on shelf £1.22 on pack thing. Had to be persistant about it though. They tried to tell me that I had to have one with a special offer sticker on and that they weren't the same. Eventually made them take me to the shelf and check whether they were the same with the meat dept and came away with my money and free pack. Now that is it. My freezer it fit to burst!
Oh Yeah - and used a Joey coupon too no problem.....3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
