Hope someone can help with Tesco policy as I bought a TV a while back and got the standard "we refund you the overcharge" as it rang through a few pounds over the shelf price.
If I'd known about this, would they really have given me a TV for free?!
Thanks,
Adam

You would have been entitled to refund and replace and I would certainly chase this up if you still have the receipt as the instore and tv advertising makes no mention of any exclusions to the policy and I have been refunded on all sorts from a radio to motor oil, orange juice to jeans, wine and dvd's, how long ago did this take place and do you still have your receipt? or perhaps you paid by card in which case you don't need your receipt as your credit card will have details of both the purchase and refund, pm me if you wish with what information you have to hand and I will be in a better position to advise how best to take advantage of the situation.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Hello,
Can you use coupons on the self service tills?Like my avatar, took the photo myself with the free digital camera I bought from boots with all my free points! I love moneysaving.0 -
Roger_Rampant wrote:I was caught out on Friday by an offer which I thought said that when you bought new potatoes you would receive a cucmuber for free. As there were no cucumbers immediately adjacent to the promotion (which there usually would be) I went and found a cucumber in another part of the fruit and veg section, but I was charged for the cucumber at the till
When I queried it at customer services (and also asked for a refund on the mange tout plus sweetcorn that they had double-scanned) I was told that it was half a cucumber free. If I find that the sign said a cucumber, but it's actually half a cucumber, it's my public duty to let Trading Standards know what's going on, as that would be breaking the Trade Descriptions Act
Cucumber portion. I spotted the sign, then spotted the word portion and passed up a nice potato salad with cucumber for lunch...so if head office send out the signs I guess you missed your portion :rolleyes:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

One of the Swansea stores has put up a notice to say no coupons on self scan and taped over the slot. The staff say its because the tills weren't recognising them - yeah pull the other one~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
