HEADS UP!
Tesco have a new orange juice they are promoting it is:
Minute Maid pure squeezed orange juice @ 1.19 smooth or with juicy bits
however there is also an almost identical product with added vitamins the only difference in the label is a light blue "with multi vitamins" on the second bottle and it is on offer @ 1.39 BUT the point of sale material is generally all over the place and very misleading hence eight bottles for me tonight refund and replace thank you very much.
I can see why this product is misplaced as the bottles have very little difference and the point of sale only identifies the difference in teeny weenie writing as usual. As I have mentioned before in this thread the onus is on the store to make its advertising clear and fair and not on you the customer to read every little bit of small print, the customer service staff griped a little and then offered to refund the difference I mentioned in passing that they have a refund and replace policy and drew his attention to the poster nice and bright on the wall for all to see and he then decided he needed to see the display before agreeing to refund and replace, no problem I had photo's on my phone before the assistant took the POS away!! £11.12 refund for me.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Theres a BOGOF on double and single cream, hopefully nationwide this time!
If you want double cream its normal buy one at 69p and get 1 free. But if you buy the single, like I did, its buy 2 for 49p each and get 69p off. Thats 15p a tub compared to normally 49p. Bargain! What goes around - comes around

I was caught out on Friday by an offer which I thought said that when you bought new potatoes you would receive a cucmuber for free. As there were no cucumbers immediately adjacent to the promotion (which there usually would be) I went and found a cucumber in another part of the fruit and veg section, but I was charged for the cucumber at the till
When I queried it at customer services (and also asked for a refund on the mange tout plus sweetcorn that they had double-scanned) I was told that it was half a cucumber free. If I find that the sign said a cucumber, but it's actually half a cucumber, it's my public duty to let Trading Standards know what's going on, as that would be breaking the Trade Descriptions ActThanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0 -
Hiya,
I'm new to MSE - but looks like I'll be spending a lot more time here. :j
Hope someone can help with Tesco policy as I bought a TV a while back and got the standard "we refund you the overcharge" as it rang through a few pounds over the shelf price.
If I'd known about this, would they really have given me a TV for free?!
Thanks,
