I gave them another 12 days beyond that ,then began a switch to a slightly cheaper tariff (but longer fix) with Yorkshire Energy.
No sign of an online account,account number or the credit carried forward from One Select altho' I did manage to download a statement from the OS website before they went down which showed a carry forward credit of ~ £42:)
So it is not to early to now switch then? I have no idea what my incredit is (assuming I have any). who have yo decided to switch to, and whats the saving?Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Which supplier are switching to? Did Together Energy tried to object since you probably didn't have an account when you initiated the switch?
I detailed earlier in the thread that the switch got blocked and Bulb had to put the request through a few times before it was finally accepted. In their words "We have been given the all clear to apply from the 8th but some [other switching applications] have still resulted in cancellations". The final (successful) attempt was made on 14th January.
When I applied on the 31st December (I waited until my distributor was showing my supply had been taken over by Together), I was given a switch date of 21st January. Even with the above cancellations, Bulb were able to successfully take over my supply just one day late on the 22nd.
I don't expect anyone will have any problem if they initiate a switch now.0 -
BTW The last email that I had from Together Energy on 24th January has a PDF hidden at the bottom that gives the customer number & details of the tariff. I wouldn't have found this except a helpful poster in one of the other One Select or Together Energy threads mentioned it. The PDF is not reference in the text of the "Welcome to Together" email.
I have initiated a switch to EDF on a 2-year fix but am concerned that Together may try & block this as I cancelled their direct debit that they set up without my permission. I have sent at least seven emails offering to pay whatever it is I owe but not had a single reply. Aside from any cost savings this dreadful customer service is what motivated me to switch.0 -

You must be a "Chosen One" -certainly haven't had any emails with or without attachments since 23:30 on the 5th January:rotfl:0 -

Actually brewersave is not the "chosen one", as I received my welcome email on 25th Janaury 2019 which you may find useful:
Hi +++++
Welcome to all our former OneSelect customers
Welcome to Together Energy: the trusted energy company.
At Together Energy, we’re happy to give all of our customers access to our friendly call centre, where our highly trained staff can deal with any issue or query. You can expect your first bill once you have been on supply for 12 weeks; each month thereafter, you will receive a monthly statement through your online customer web portal. If you would prefer a bill through the post, just let us know and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
Access to your Customer Portal will go live in February.
Renewing your tariff
As a result of the process run by OFGEM, all OneSelect customers were transferred to Together Energy on 14 December 2018. From then until now you have been on a ’deemed tariff’, unless you have switched provider or changed tariff. Whilst this is higher than what you were paying at OneSelect it is actually only 3.5% higher than OneSelect’s most recent tariff and is below the price cap set by OFGEM.
There are no exit fees for you on this tariff meaning you are free to switch tariff including our long term fixed tariffs which are the best value 2 and 3 year deals available. With all the uncertainty around why would you not look to lock in price certainty for your energy for a longer time - 2018 saw a record number of price rises across the industry.
Alternatively, you can also switch to another supplier, but we hope you choose to stay with us.
To change your Together Energy tariff now, please click here.
If you wish to discuss changing your Together Energy tariff, please call us on 0141 280 8862.
*Your Direct Debit will remain the same as it was with OneSelect.
*We will only change this if we think you are paying too much or too little and will contact you before doing so.
*Together will always offer you the lowest possible price that we are able to.
*It is our mission to give you no reason to ever shop around again.
*When you refer a friend through our Refer a Friend scheme we will reward you both with a £30 credit on your accounts for successful referrals.
Welcome to Together. It’s a privilege to be providing you with your energy.
Sincerely,
The Together TeamTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
my welcome letter says I am on:
Together OS Dec18
but this tariff is not listed on the cheap energy club comparison tool, so how can you compare?Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
@trinidadone
Use a decent price comparison site that does list the tariff
https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/ or a version that may give cashback (at a better rate than the Cheap Energy Club too) https://www.energylinx.co.uk/energy/cashback/0
