#88 reporting in for November, £2,838.18, bringing my total just above target with December to come.
All this has come about without including any ISA savings or pension contributions just shows what can actually be done, albeit a hefty chunk from redundancy payment, still managed over 15k and had a lot of travelling too (Off to Japan in January)
Will attempt next year too, but I am thinking will be a lot lower as I have just commissioned a home to be built in Spain, retired and just going to try and enjoy the spending years!
Thanks to all who post, I really enjoy reading them, adds an extra spur, plus the tips I have picked up, such as rounding the accounts down and squirreling that money into saving.Save 12k in 2020 #19 £12,429.06/£14,0000 -
That's a great post skid112 - I love it when our collective contributions and tips help each other. Commissioning a home to be built in Spain sounds very brave to me. We have managed to buy a motorhome...Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
