Hi all, didn't realise how far behind I was with my updates! Saving has gone well this year, until September when I finally replaced my loyal yet creaky 17 year old car with a whippersnapper of a 3 year old car - which has taken me into minus numbers for 2019 for now! But that's one of the things I've been saving for so I don't mind.

Sorry for late reply thought I had updated this earlier, #54 reporting a total of £595.02 for September hoping for this to rise in coming months

#6 reporting in with £5,187.50 for September, making £61,666.05 for the year so far and that's my original target reached. Going to try and get to £75k before year-end although think i'll fall just short of that.
  • Hi

#57 I've been away for quite a while but I have now updated the missing records. I'm not going to meet my target of £12k but I hope to make the revised target of £8k. I am trying to get back on track and hope to have a strong end to the year.

September was a great month for me... bit of an anomaly though as I was paid out some extra money and changed back some holiday money... so my total is £1390 for September.

I'm feeling hopeful that I will hit my £6k target by the end of the year. As long as I keep Christmas spending in check... and I am planning to spend a lot less this year than last!

Best of luck for everyone in October :)

#88 September update, £1809.69. Pretty good really as booked and paid for (yet another) break, cutting back elsewhere helped, resulted in the lowest credit card bill I can remember

#114 here reporting a £13,861 save for October. More than usual this month as elected to sell the vested LTIP company shares. While I don’t believe that my employers are at risk, I guess you can never really know and I prefer not to link together my employment and financial security anymore than I have to. Am pleased with progress made to date on this challenge and should meet the target by year end. Form also submitted. Thanks,
