Anyway, spreadsheet is updated! Some fab numbers on there
Don't worry we all lose track occasionally more so over the holidays and even more so with children.

Submitted my figure to the sheet!:T
Reporting £845.07 for August.
I know already that September's figure will be lower because I have been away on holiday and the majority of the cost will be reflected in this month's statement. However it was a lovely holiday and worth every penny!

114 here. Submitted the form with a £8,062 save achieved for September.
It’s a little more than usual courtesy of backpay that OH unexpectedly received due to working on a research grant outside of p/t contracted hours. This has been transferred to one of offset accounts and adds another month to the emergency fund.
Next month should see the payout of my work annual cash bonus and the vesting of some LTIP shares awarded a few years back. I’ve not yet decided on whether to sell or hold but whichever option is taken, the taxman is initially going to take a healthy cut.

Hello!! I've been so busy over the past few weeks I've only just updated the document for August. Thankfully I saved £634, which I'm happy with!
My last post mentioned that I might be putting my flat on the market... it's on! Had a few viewings but waiting for those magic offers...
Hoping I can save more in September now that our holidays have all been taken for the year0 -
Hello forumites, been absent for a while but I now have savings to report from the last 3 months:
June: -£538.54
July: £1016.60
August: £961.53
After digging into savings earlier this year, which wasn't quite the plan, things are definitely going in the right direction now! Actually, my position is better now than it was at the start of the year due to higher salary at a new job, plus some necessary home improvements coming to a natural conclusion resulting in lower expenses.
Might yet manage the £4k target by year end! :j0 -
£2000 for September, which I'm pleased as September's an expensive month with MOT, service, tax, insurance and breakdown cover (although that all comes out of my car pot that I don't count towards savings).
I also had holiday spends and some small works round the house, and will have a few more this month. I'm getting myself snug for the winter hibernation!
I've got lots of social things going on in October, including a wedding weekend away and a new dental crown (no NHS here) so might be a reduced savings month then.Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:
