If there is a second referendum ...

It was touted as an option for a few Leave campaigners, including Farage (repeatedly).
Would it upset more people than a WTO brexit would? Does it count as "Leaving the EU?"
I think Farage qoute has been taken out of context as for WTO deal I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.0 -

Not during the referendum it wasn't..
Again more misinformation by you..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -
Asking the people what they wanted in 2016 was the pinnacle of democracy, a shining beacon in the dank, murky world of British politics...
... but asking the people what they want in 2019 is a desperate underhand trick! Go figure!0 -
From Cameron's speech, 21-Jun-2016 :
"And remember: they can’t undo the decision we take.
"If we vote out, that’s it.
"It is irreversible.
"We will leave Europe – for good.
"And the next generation will have to live with the consequences far longer than the rest of us"
Hmm, yeah. I can see how that was totally ambiguous0 -
He's right - once we're out that's it. That's what Leavers are banking on.
However, I'd argue that we haven't actually decided anything yet - if we did we'd have been years further forward by now.Not during the referendum it wasn't..

You are technically right here, in that he was a lot more careful about what he said from April to June, and also very careful to not outright say he wants to see us mimic Norway. But he mentions Norway and it's success whilst being outside the EU a lot in the run-up to the campaign, as well as suggesting it afterwards. Neither being valid for your claim, of course.
Can you honestly say Farage has never suggested Norway is a good idea?0 -

By 2015. UK banks had cut 186,000 jobs following the GFC. This includes branch restructuring etc. 2,000 needs to be kept in perspective. Funny how people now love bankers. When they couldn't kick them hard enough. Strange world we live in of contradictory views depending on the circumstances.
It is not a question of loving bankers. Money moved outside of the UK will be less money available for investment in the UK. Jobs lost in any sector affect the taxes collected in the UK and the public services we can afford. Same applies to manufacturing when so many firms are also reducing jobs and relocating plants. I believe that some in Norway don't think its altogether a good deal for them

The only possible referendum question is surely "no deal" v remain. You can't have May's deal on there, because for a 2nd vote to come about that would already have been rejected.
You think that May is not so bloody minded and intransigent that losing the vote would be enough to stop her putting it on a ballot paper?

Sky indicating it will be a big loss......I estimate it will be around 90.
That would be humiliating for lesser mortals, but I am sure that May will see it as a minor setback and labels that as Project FearFew people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment.
