If there is a second referendum ...

Foreign Nationals are over represented in English and Welsh jails. I seem to recall being told that 5 to 6% of the prison population were EU nationals.
That would seem to marry up with my own anecdotal experience.
That would seem to be another piece of leave propaganda.
The 5% of the prison population appears to be about right:

However, about 6% of the UK population are EU nationals:

So, if anything, it would appear EU nationals are actually under-represented.0 -

Not propagranda. Simply dimisses the myth that FOM attracts people for the right reasons. That FOM is entirely beneficial.0 -

No one has said it's entirely beneficial. It has pluses and minuses.
A plus is that we need the workers, the young people, and the tax revenue that immigrants bring. A minus is that immigration changes areas and not everyone from those areas likes it. A further minus is that this Tory government has never had any intention of properly funding public services for the people already here, let alone newcomers, which adds strain on schools and hospitals. But this is ideological not because Britain is "full".
Another huge plus is that we also get freedom of movement ourselves. Not something of interest to the majority of Leave voters but the young seem to be quite upset it's gone.
The UK has always had freedom to deport those without work within the EU, and has never used it. Is that Europe's fault too?0 -

You’re getting your average figure using just the jail population of England and Wales up against the whole of U.K. based EU citizens.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
The next referendum questions. My first attempt.
1) Do you wish Parliament to except the deal on the table. YES/NO
2) If answer to 1) is no. Do you wish Britain to trade under imposed WTO regulations. YES/NO
3) If the answer to 2) is no. Do you wish Britain to stay in the EU. YES/NO
So my first attempt. I am not happy with it and because this thread is about a further referendum it would be great to examine what the questions would be.There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there aint going to be a second referendum.
I accept that we may leave in name only, we may leave on WTO, we might even get May's deal. I am 100% confident, there won't be a second referendum..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -

And that's a good thing, because a 2nd referendum with a leave win is really the only way towards a hard brexit.
Even if we voted explicitly for a no deal Brexit there are to many in Parliament that wouldn't allow it...
For me it looks like this, percentage of what might happen..
Mays Deal 40% ( this would be more if she gets changes to the backstop)
Softer Brexit 40% (this imo could cause a huge split in the Tory party and a new party emerging)
No Deal 20% ( I give this a 20% chance because it could happen by default or by accident)"I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0
