My understanding was if we revoked Article 50 then everything to do with the EU would be exactly as it used to be; we'd simply keep the same benefits, liabilities, rules and regulations as always, literally nothing would change:
I mean both, as I said we can revoke article 50 and initially our conditions will be the same but our position has been weakened and there is no guarantee they will stay the same.0 -
Small sample I know, but everyone I know who wanted to leave, wants to leave more than ever now and hasn't seen anything to change their mind. They don't appear to be worried about any consequences.
Perhaps they are keeping their stockpiling of goods secret! Why would they worry if they have a hoard of goods. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
As a remainer I now see only two possible outcomes as a further referendum is not going to happen and article 50 will not be extended.
1) The withdrawal/transition/political understanding “deal” will be voted through by the British and EU Parliament with some modification that will get it over the line
Or
2) Britain leaves at the end of March with no deal
The consequences for trade talks with the EU after these two choices will be VERY different. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
I really don't think the normal working pleb who struggles to make ends meet is too bothered if the £ is down 10% .If supermarkets raise their prices, they'll just shop somewhere else. People are making a big fuss out of nothing. I wish the news would stop going on about it.
Homelessness is a much, much bigger issue than this brexit.
Average UK household debt currently stands at £15,385, not including mortgages. Are you sure that everyone can negate a 10% rise in the cost of living just by shopping somewhere else?
That's of course if they still have a job.
I can't see this doing much good for the homelessness crisis either.0 -
Just make up enough fake news extolling the benefits of staying in the EU0

I think thats pretty naiive. Brexit is a huge issue and the fallout will take the country decades to resolve fully. The news will be going on about Brexit for the rest of most of our lives.
I agree there are more important issues, but its all connected. We have chosen to make a huge change to the country and I can't believe anyone seriously thinks it will just pass by without a fuss and we'll be talking about something else in 5 years time.0 -

I think that's heading higher over the next few years.
As deposits get harder to find, it takes more oil to get oil...0 -

Equally concerning are drugs and people trafficking. Open borders has openly changed the culture in this country for the worse. Disregard for the most basic of laws and regulations is common too.0
