    Afternoon :)

Nothing has changed with spends, surveys or shoppix, so I'm not going to repeat myself. I missed my delivery of books today which was frustrating. Considering I don't think I ever really go out, when I went online to rebook delivery I realised I have something on every day until next Wednesday so I won't be able to get them until then.

DD has stopped volunteering at the foodbank now she's in work but I'm going in tomorrow to have a chat with them and offer my services. Strangely, I find not working often means I get less done than when I had a job. I think it's because there's no pressure and I can sit here for hours thinking 'oh I'll do that later when I feel like it'. Trouble is I rarely feel like it. :D I've been pretty busy at church this week but when I've been home I've achieved far more than what I usually do. Anyway, the point of that ramble is, if I do toddlers one morning a week and help out at the FB for a couple of mornings, I'll be doing something constructive and helpful and hopefully I'll get more done at home because I'm not here as much. Trust me, in my head it makes perfect sense.  B)

I need to spend a little bit of money tomorrow and I might have a survey or two to add on so I'll update all the figures tomorrow.

Hope you're all having a good day. x

It's like being in a permanent state of procrastination at times @beanielou. Sometimes it's a luxury but mostly I'm just not getting much done  :/ x

I'm sure you'll be able to stick to your spends budget  @WinterWarrior - in fact I know you can do it, so don't let me down  ;)   I know it's not very MSE encouraging but I can't help but giggle at some of the things people buy that knock them off track. I love all the confessionals  :D

I really think it helps that I'm not keen on coffees or take-aways and I include chocolate treats in the weekly shop - that's my tip to all chocolate lovers  :p  There are weeks when I literally spend less than £10 on things for myself, although those weeks seem to be in short supply at the moment haha. I'm much more in control of money when the 'kids' aren't around. Quite often I spend on things that aren't even for me, for example church is having a toy drive, so today I've spent £5 on a board game. I'm actually very cheap to keep  :D

    Morning :)

Day 7/30, Prolific £3.54 cleared 30p outstanding, Shoppix 2815/3200, Spends - need to count up but can't be bothered getting off the chair!

Sat here waiting for a phone call from the doctor because DS isn't well. He's had a cough for 3 weeks and after several negative LF tests we took him for a PCR yesterday because I want to make sure it's not the dreaded virus before he returns to school and becomes Patient Zero :D No results yet but the way our surgery runs now, probably like a lot of them, is you have to have a telephone appt first before they'll give you a face to face, so I'm trying to pre-empt a negative PCR test and book him in to see a GP. Our surgery is happy to do face to face but appointments still aren't easy to come by so I'm basically trying to save a few days of waiting.

DD was excited to go into work today. She'll be sharing a Y7 form group with another teacher and said it looks really odd seeing her name written in the teacher space rather than the pupil space on all the work books. Yesterday she said a lunchtime supervisor called out 'miss' as she walked past and she carried on regardless. It was only when she shouted it again that she realised she was talking to her  :D

I need to pop out for a few bits today and there's bit of cleaning on the 'to do list'. Hope you all have a good day. x
