Hello
Life is very busy here at the moment but I'm enjoying every minute of it. I only have one full day at home now plus weekends, the rest of the time I'm out doing something or other. The beauty of volunteering is it gets me out of the house, I get to talk to lots of people and I'm spending even less than usual, so the savings are mounting up nicely.
Hope you're all keeping well. xx

Thanks HHDI don't pop on here much so it was a lovely surprise to see you'd posted on your diary. Well done on the the job.
Christmas was quiet but we enjoyed it. The first one without Mum felt odd though, as you'll knowBut she wouldn't have wanted us to be sad so we remembered her with smiles.
DD has just completed her first term of teacher training and is loving it - mostly. There's been the odd day where it's not gone so well but I think that's to be expected even with teachers who've been qualified for years. DS has signed up to college on a course that's perfect for his career choice and this coming year he's taking his GCSE's so we'll see how that goes.
I've cut down on one day of volunteering so I'm just out of the house every other day now which will be better. Apart from that life just ticks over as usual here. xx

I know how strange the first Christmas without your mum would have been. It does get easier but I agree that she wouldn't have wanted you to be sad.
It's a good idea to have a day off inbetween volunteering.
I'm glad DD is enjoying her teacher training. There will always be days that aren't perfect at children can be very unpredictable, but experience makes these times easier to deal with and that will come in time. It's good that DS knows what he wants to do.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
