Hope you get your script without to much bother.
    Your tea sounds just lush.
    Jealous of your foot treatment.
    Enjoy your weekend  :) x
I managed to get through on the phone to ask if it was ready, which is another drama in itself, but it was so I went and got it. The pedicure was lovely and as I'm getting older I'm going to look on it as a necessity rather than a luxury.  :D
Jealous of your chippy tea 😋
Don't be too jealous @WinterWarrior, it wasn't the best. Fish was delicious but it looked like the chips were left over from last week. Very odd as it's usually spot on. Not sure how you can mess up chips in a chippy but there you go!

Wishing for chip shop chips now 😂.

Do you fancy trying cross stitch or do you already do that ?
Chips were dire tonight @Sunshine_girl2 :( I do like cross stitch. Maybe I should have a look around and find myself a really nice one to do that I'd like to keep.

If you are looking for something to get your teeth into I would recommend Heaven and Earth Cross Stitch they are quite big but they are cross stitch no blending it specialised stitches.

Cross stitch Christmas card kits…that way it’s useful and you get to legitimately send them off when they’re done? I know someone who made a beautiful cross stitch Christmas tree skirt…it took years!

I like the idea of cards and bookmarks @beanielou and @WinterWarrior and the Heaven and Earth designs are fantastic LABMUM, they'd definitely keep me busy for a while :)

I'm going to have a look at quilling as well. There are some lovely designs and I don't think it would cost the earth to buy what I need. Just a bit dubious about the glue part of it - I can be a bit messy!

    Morning :)

    Day 7/31, Prolific £3.98 cleared, £2.78 outstanding, Prolific 1020/3200 , Spends £0

Final day of the week which means I can split the £12 I've got left over between the pots. Also transferred £10 from joint account to birthday bank pot which I'd forgotten to do. Hoping a couple of surveys will clear this week so I can reach that magic £5 and cash out . I started doing surveys just over 3 years ago and so far I've made £552.93 :) Not bad for a few minutes here and there answering questions.

Pots at end August week 1:
    Savings: £45.00
    Dog Grooming: £15
    Hair: £8.50
    Foot Lady: £1.50
    Charity: £12.80
    Christmas: £301.51/£8.00 (bank & pot)
    Birthdays: £55.48/9.00 (bank & pot)
    Paypal: £128.48

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday. x

What about something like this. A dear friend did this for me , sadly passed away now so more special. Plus she always sent cross stitch Xmas cards.

Ooh that's right up my street @Sunshine_girl2  I'm definitely a country cottage/flower type of gal. What a lovely keepsake to have. I obviously don't know your friend, but I'm looking at each stitch and thinking of her sat there sewing it for you. Definitely something to always treasure. x

    Morning All :)

    Day 9/31, Prolific £4.63 cleared £2.78 outstanding, Shoppix 1110/3200, Spends £35

I'm off shopping with DD today. The only thing I need is a tub of good old fashioned vaseline which I was told to use on my feet to keep them soft, but apart from that neither of us really needs anything so we'll just have a browse. While we're there I'll do the first part of the weeks shop. I spent £3.50 on a top up over the weekend so it was a pretty good week again.

I've decided to have a go at quilling and ordered myself a kit last night which should arrive today but I won't knock the cost off my spends until it gets here. It looks easy enough to master and is the sort of thing I'd like to try. If I can do it, it should tick the 'keeping myself occupied' box. Plus with it being a new craft I'll spend a fair bit of time watching videos learning all about it, which will also pass a bit of time.

Prolific is slowly edging it's way up and fingers crossed it will cross the £5 finishing line this week! No idea what the money in PP is for but I'm keeping it in there in case something nice crops up that I want to do. Usually there's a theatre trip and a Christmas experience in the planning that I use survey money for, but I'm not over keen on booking anything like that just yet.

Hope you all have a good start to the week. x
