Excellent shopping budget. We did £85 this week for 2 of us and I thought that wasn’t bad!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Afternoon
Day 2/31, Prolific £1.67 cleared, £1.88 o/s, Shoppix 870/3200, Spends £27
Went shopping with DD today and we both had a little spend. I bought some books, a small cross stitch and a couple of other bits - total cost £8.
I spent £32.77 in the supermarket doing my 'first' shop of the week, (I like to choose certain things myself, the rest I'm happy with online delivery). I could have saved £2.00 but DD insisted we needed hot chocolate because she'd looked in the cupboard and couldn't see any. I wasn't convinced but let her put it in the trolley. First thing I did when I got in was check and yep, there was half a jar hiding behind a box of teabags.Kids!
Hope you're all having a good start to the week. x

Morning
Day 5/31, Prolific £1.67 cleared, £2.53 outstanding, Shoppix 960/3200, Spends £27
The days are very quiet lately. There's nothing much going on and it's all become a bit boring. I'm not overly bothered about going out but I'd really like to find a new hobby for indoors. Had a look at Hobbycraft last night for inspiration, but nothing caught my eye.
I've spent £97.63 on shopping this week. Don't think a top up will be needed, but it won't be much if I have forgotten something. Did well with Mr T yesterday. They substituted 12 bread rolls for the 8 I'd ordered and sent a bigger tray of sushi that DD likes.
Surveys are quiet, but I've had 2 big ones this week so can't grumble. Another 80p and I'll be able to cash out again when they've cleared.
I doubt I'll be spending anything over the next 2 days so it's looking like I'll have a big chunk to split between the pots this week.
DD is off to her job this afternoon to set up all the paperwork etc. I've already got my plan of action in place for her to recommend DS when he turns 16 later this yearDefinitely not on the same shift though. They get on really well but to the point where nothing would get done for them messing around!
Hope you all have a good day. x

What do you like to do? I started quilting nearly 2 years ago after I stumbled on a YouTube demo (my first quilt series by Melanie Ham). I couldn’t even sew, but just wanted a go.
so I recommend cruising YouTube tutorials until you find a hobby that sparks your interest.
I can’t knit for toffee, but if ever I have time I will try to learn to crochet…after seeing the fabulous blankets on Demores.

I knit, crochet, cross stitch, quilt, read and do jigsaws. Trouble is I've been doing all that for years now and I really want to try my hand at something else. I like to bake and mess about cake decorating but we don't really eat them so it seems a waste of money and I hate throwing them away. I'm a tricky customer that's for sure.1
