You lost me at lots of healthy salad on the side. Mine needs to be extra cheese and dipped in Mayo 😁

    Count the pepperoni slices!
Life is way to short for that!
My thoughts exactly Beanie. I suppose I can see why from a business sense, but DD said it wasn't enough so she added a few more. Whoever got that one is going to be very disappointed next time they order.  :D

I hope your daughter got paid for those 2 hours…it seems like a sneaky way to get free labour if not.
I expect the business owner thinks life’s to short to lose money give away extra pepperoni slices (but I’d like that pizza 😁).
Nope, no pay. Bit bloody cheeky isn't it, so I'm glad she put extra slices on, we can say she's donated her wages in pepperoni. I'd make a rubbish business owner, I'd be slapping all sorts on to make it good value for money. I find takeaway pizza ridiculously expensive and as much as I love it, it's the one thing I'd never pay for. I'm more than happy with my £3.50 Chicago stuffed crust from Mr T's with lots of healthy salad on the side, thank you very much  ;)
I hope your daughter gets a part time job soon. I agree I hope it wasn't free labour for 2 hours.
The Italian she worked at before , I am going there on Saturday early evening with my friend and a mooch around the shops and quays.

Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

Haha, I'm not as virtous as I sound @winterwarrior, my salad had a good dollop of mayo on it.

Ooh you're in my vicinity then @Sunshine_girl2 :) She's not heard anything yet so I have a feeling they probably got a good 2 hours work out of her, but we'll see. She was FOH/waitress where you're going on Saturday. She enjoyed it but what started as 12 hours, which was fine as she was studying, started to turn into a lot more, covering for staff, staying late etc, so she handed her notice in a couple of days before the first lockdown was announced. Her manager didn't want her to leave and said he'd keep hold of it for a couple of weeks in case she changed her mind. That meant she was still on the payroll so got paid for 3 months I think, even though it was closed. Hope you enjoy your meal and the mooch around the shops. It's been a while since I've been to The Quays.

    Morning :)

    Day 28/31, Prolific £4.57 cleared 63p outstanding, Shoppix 640/3200, Spends £30

I've been doing a couple of small surveys every day and it's surprising how it mounts up. I'll soon have another £5 to cash out.

We're off to the town that's famous for it's black pudding soon. DD wants to have a look around. We don't often do much together so it'll be nice to spend some time with her. The crepe shop has been mentioned so I'm sure some of my spends will be going today. I'm also looking for some felt or material to make hand puppets with, but it depends how much it costs. The market is on so I might find something there.

I've transferred £50 into the Christmas pot from the joint account today. I need to write down all these ins/outs or I won't know where I'm up to when I come to posting the list again.

Hope you all have a good day. x

Hubby came as well which means the crepe shop ate most of my spends :( I'm not bothered really, it's nice to treat them both and there's going to be a bit of jiggery pokery regarding the pots to reimburse some of it ;)

Haha, not quite that far Beanie. I can't tell hubby there's a place in Scotland that's famous for black pudd as well. He keeps telling me he wants to move up there and that would clinch the deal! x

Back from shopping and the purse weighs a lot lighter than it did when I set off. Hubby said he'd drive us, so he was also included in the crepe fest. I have to eat with the morning meds, so wasn't hungry and settled for a cup of Earl Grey, which was actually quite hot. So 3 drinks and 2 crepes, one a meat feast and one a vegan ratatouille set me back £22.40. They were huge though and hubby and DD really enjoyed them. Then we popped in Kenji and I spent £5.30 on a few bits including a bit of stationery for DD.

That leaves me with £2.30 until Sunday. I've nothing planned so can't see me needing more money but if I do I've decided I'll take half of the crepe cost out of the savings pot because that's the sort of thing it's 'allowed' to cover.

Couldn't find any felt and the material stall was closed so I'll have a look online.

Before I forget what I'm doing I'm listing the pots again.

    July Pots:
    Savings: £40
    Dog Grooming: £15
    Hair: £7.50
    Christmas: £301.51/£6.00 (bank & pot)
    Birthdays: £45.48/7.00 (bank & pot)
    Paypal: £123.28
    Charity: £10.00
