Poor DS. Perhaps the teacher is being more strict because they think he has all the time in the world to do the homework. I'm surprise really though.
It has been a very strange month indeed. I wonder what April will bring 😱!

I thought that as well Beanie. It's not even a core subject, it's a language that he absolutely hates doing and which I doubt will be of any use to him in his life, considering DD chose to do this subject and has never used it since! xx2 -

To be honest I think she's been a real cow but I haven't said that to him. He's done it and submitted it for all the good it will do him. It's a language that he hates doing and will never use.
Yes, I'm taking a few bits to my Mum, she's in the over 70 bracket and is self isolating. We're also waiting for a phone call from the hospital which I need to be there to hear and support her with. I hope that will satisfy them if I do get stopped. If not I shall carry on regardless.
Ooh a fellow anarchist lol. I don't care what's happening in the world, you can't have Easter without Easter eggs.

I totally forgot about Easter. Oops!
I think the teacher was very harsh. Good on DS doing it though.

I'm ahead of myself with Easter WB but don't want the masses to realise it's happening and take all the chocolate eggs as well as real eggs lol.
Yes, I think the teacher was harsh and I really don't see the need for it. xx2 -
Morning Everybody

Day 15/30, Prolific £4.22 cleared £1.63 pending, Spends £20
It’s been a trying couple of weeks. As well as coping with lock down, which for the most part is fine, I’ve also been dealing with other things behind the scenes. Unfortunately, the virus and the pressure the NHS is under at the moment is only adding to what’s already a stressful situation.
Money wise we’re lucky in that nothing has changed for us so money in and money out is the same as usual. There’s been a bit more spent on groceries but not much and thinking about it the biggest outlay has been stocking up on dog food. I've reduced my weekly spends to £20 but apart from a £10 on line order I've spent nothing else so far this month.
The only thing that’s really affected us is just before lock down was announced we paid £2,700 site fees for the van but obviously we’re not able to go. I can’t see us coming out of this any time soon and even then I tend to think anything leisure related will be quite far down the list of things allowed to open. The season runs from March to November so I doubt we’re going to get our monies worth this year and there is absolutely no way any of the fees will be reimbursed. I'm not convinced this virus will blow over any time soon and if it looks like this could happen again we're going to have to seriously think about what to do next year. One lot of fees we can reluctantly suck up but we definitely don't want to find ourselves paying out for nothing again.
I’m spending hardly anything at the moment so I’ve updated the pots this morning as it’s a new week and they look like this:
Savings £110
DS Savings £40
Dog Grooming £25
Hairdressers £25
Christmas £70
Christmas Meal £60
Charity £10
Birthdays £93
Household £47.07
Uniform £44.40
Hope you’re all staying well. Have a good day. xx

Your pots are looking seriously healthy Tea - I guess we have to look at some of the upsides of this trying time.
I hope all is ok with your mum after your visit a couple of weeks back
It's frustrating about the site fees isn't it - especially given you can't use the van,nor can you claim a portion back. Hopefully this will all be over in time for you to at least get some use out of it later in the year. I wonder if they'll shave a portion off next year's fees to make up for it? Wishful thinking probably...
Hope you're doing well.Sealed Pot Challenge 075

I'm glad you're okay TF2. I was missing your posts

That is a shame about the site fees. I know it's not the same amount of money, but we renewed our NT membership halfway through February and only managed to go once before the lockdown, so I wish we'd waited to renew now. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
