I hope neighbours aren't going to be spending too much time spying and complaining about each other, as that doesn't do much for community feeling! The police said they didn't want to tell people not to ring up and shop their neighbours, but not to expect them to arrive with flashing lights for each complaint 😂.
I suspect they would prefer you to do all things at once HHD. But whether you do them individually or altogether you've still done the same amount of walking and mixing with people at school and the shops
Most people are being sensible about it and that's the main thing. xx 2 -

Morning Everybody
Day 30/31, Prolific £1.17 cleared. 84p outstanding. Spends £0
Thanks to the absolute cracker of a survey I got this month and the savings pot I'd set up for theatre tickets I’ve been able to pay the £114 back I borrowed into the savings and divide the rest between pots. No idea if we’ll be able to go and see the show but I’m sure the money will be refunded or credited.
I've not spent a bean this week but spends is at £0 because I've divided it between the pots and totals are now:
Savings £55
DS Savings £30
Dog Grooming £0
Hairdressers £15
Christmas £48
Christmas Meal £45
Charity £5.50
Birthdays £93
Household £47.07
Uniform £44.40
Had a slight panic when I read Tesco are only allowing customers to order 80 items now. But I’ve done my usual order and the total items in my basket are 64 so I’m well within the limit. I suppose I could order more but to be honest I don’t feel the need. I’ve done a meal plan and we have enough to see us through the next 10 days. If most things arrive on Wednesday I should have enough for the next 3 weeks apart from topping up milk, fruit and bread. Hubby and DD went out for a few bits on Saturday that haven’t been delivered on the past 3 orders which I’ve managed without but do need now. Apart from the elusive eggs they got pretty much everything on the list.
Boredom set in on Saturday but I felt better yesterday. It’s just a week ago tonight we were put on lock down. Already another 2 weeks seems a long time let alone 3-6 months that is now being talked about. We're lucky in that we can go for a walk without seeing a soul and we have a garden to sit in. But it's just that freedom of not being able to go somewhere when the urge takes you. Hopefully, all this is for the greater good so I'm no complaining.
Hope you're all keeping well. Have a good day.

I'm glad you're coping TF2 and not feeling bored today
. I know what you mean about wanting to do things just because you know you can't. I have a strong craving for a Costalot coffee and a day at a NT place but I know I can't do either 😭.
Eighty items is quite a lot for a Mr T delivery, but deliveries are hard to get hold of at the moment. I hope you get everything you need in the delivery.

Thanks HHD
I've never looked at the number of items in my trolley before so wouldn't have a clue how many are usually delivered. I've pretty much done my normal shop with an extra mouth to feed (DD) so 80 items is obviously quite a lot. It's my last delivery, we'll have to go to the store from now on. Hope your day at school went well. xx 2 -
DS1 was playing around with his phone and was looking at Mr T website at easter eggs, saw some delivery slots open and booked one! By the time he got upstairs to tell DH all the slots had gone. So it pays to check randomly now and again. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks HHD and well done DS1. I'll have a look over the next few days, maybe they're easing up a bit more now people have stockpiled what they think they'll need. xx2

Afternoon

Day 31/31, Spends £0, Prolific £2.36 cleared £0 pending
Last day of the month and what a month it's been. Not one I'll forget in a hurry that's for sure. Tomorrow I need to drive up to Mum's and that will be the first time I've been out in a week, apart from in the garden. Already she's worrying I'm going to get pulled over by the police but it's essential travel and she covers pretty much every box they want you to tick so I have my speech ready. And because I really can't believe they've nothing better to do, in a total fit of armchair anarchy I've ordered Easter eggs to be delivered this week because in this house they are essential with a capital E.
Much stomping around the house took place last night. DS submitted an online homework session one day late so was given another lot to do by way of punishment. Half of me thought mmmm.... that teacher's sat at home with nothing better to do than make kids lives a misery, the other half thought fair enough, a deadline's a deadline. It's not what normally happens though. If they miss handing in homework in 'real life' they get the chance to hand it in the day after. If they still don't produce the goods they get a warning point and detention where they do the work set. But they certainly don't get given more to do. I bet half the adults have lost track of what day it is after being in lock down for a week, let alone the kids.
It's pay day tomorrow but I think I'll be virtually filling the pots until all this is over or at least until hubby goes out shopping and can get the cash for me which probably won't be until next week now.
Hope you all have a good day. xx

That's a bit harsh.
