Hi WBWe're all good thanks. Uniform is a pain in the rear. I'm all for a uniform but it's such a rip off. DS even has a winter uniform and a summer uniform
White shirt and tie when he goes back until Easter, then polo tops from Easter until the end of the year - logo'd of course
Thing is I could eat homemade cake every day but I have to try and be good so sticking it in the freezer is my best option :rotfl: xx0 -
Afternoon
Day 6/31, Prolific £2.08, Spends £31.70
Had a cheeky overnight stay at the van on Sunday which was nice. Hoping our next visit will be for a little bit longer but at the moment we’re struggling to fit consecutive days in.
Popped into The Works today and had a little spend. I also bought a ball of wool. Total cost: £5. For the first time in a fair few weeks I’ve still got quite a bit left over so I need to think about which pots to allocate it to before pay day on Thursday.
Started a little bit of shopping for DS’s return to school - I bought 4 black pens and an eraser :rotfl: Think the next things will be his bag and lunchbox. I'll get there
Going to see my friend this week for lunch. Her little boy had to have another heart operation and has recently come home so it'll be nice to see them both.
Hope you've all had a lovely day. xx0 -
Afternoon Everybody
Day 7/31, Prolific £2.08, Spends £31.70
Had a clear out of the airing cupboard this morning. I knew I had quite a bit of stuff in there but wasn't aware I had 5 tubes of toothpaste, 6 bottles of shampoo and 7 bottles of shower gel. And that was after I'd bagged up some to drop at the FB. I suppose rather than thinking I need to be more aware of what I buy, I could pat myself on the back and put it under the heading of 'prepping for Brexit'
DD has been home for a couple of days but is heading back tonight. She's requested half a dozen fairy cakes to take with her so I've got some baking to do soon.
Moneywise, nothing much is happening and as I won't be spending any today I'll be able to allocate what's left to pots/purse. I've done a little bit of rounding down from the joint account to birthdays and experience. This was something I was supposed to do when I first started my diary but never really did. I've got into the swing of it now and it's nice to work with even numbers
Hope you're all having a good day. xx0 -
