Thanks HHD :) Yes, having the money there makes decisions like that a lot easier. We rarely go out for coffee though. I'm a total cheapskate when it comes to buying drinks and not much better where food is concerned. Plus I can make just as good at the van and sit outside in nicer surroundings. But for a change it was good. xx

    Morning :)

    Day 16/31, Prolific £6.32 cleared £2.87 outstanding, Spends £35

I missed out on 2 good surveys yesterday because I couldn’t speak fluent Basque or Russian :(:rotfl: I’m giving it to the end of the day to see if the oustanding survey amounts clear then I’ll cash out.

Shopping day has rolled around again and it’s my turn for coffee so a bit of spending is going to take place. It's the only drinks I buy that I don't begrudge because it's worth every penny to get to have a good chat :D When I get back I always do my banking so should be able to do a bit of rounding down to the birthday pot as well.

Apart from that things are just ticking over. Only 3 more get ups before the school holidays and one of them is a late start as it’s DS's trip. They had a choice of 4 places to go to and he chose one that means he doesn’t have to be in school until 9.30am. Gold star from Mum for being a clever boy :)

Hope you all have a lovely day. Xx
  • I like having coffee with DH when we go to the supermarket because we get a chance to talk. It's easy to be ships passing in the night or staring at the tv at home.

I hope DS has a lovely time on his school trip. Do you have good weather for it? We've had lovely sunshine for weeks but I'm convinced it's going to rain as soon as I break up from school :rotfl:.

Hubby never shuts up HHD so being in a confined space with him having coffee would make me feel  :rotfl: Not really, well not much ;) I can talk for England when I get going as well. The big question is are we listening to each other :D But I do get that sometimes getting out of the house for coffee and a chat is needed.

Weather is OK here, warm but dull. DS's chosen activity is indoors so it won't matter either way to him, but I hope it's nice for those who've chosen trips that are outside. I'll keep my fingers crossed for good weather especially for you over the summer hols. I always feel really sorry for people who've been cooped up at work all week and it's been lovely, then come weekend it's pouring down :( xx
  • I'm chuckling at the idea of you and DH talking nineteen to the dozen at the same time and not listening to a word each other say :rotfl:.

I'm lucky that I work outdoors so I've been able to enjoy the lovely sunshine even when I'm at work :).

Yep, that just about sums us up HHD :rotfl: Trouble is he has this habit of chunnering away about nothing then suddenly he will randomly throw something really important into the conversation so I've no option but to listen, just in case  xx

    Morning :)

    Day 17/31, Prolific £0 cleared £3.87 outstanding, Spends £29.55

I’ve cashed out the survey money and added it to the Xmas Experience pot and also rounded down the bank account and sent £1.36 over to birthdays.

I bought a few more things for DD’s stocking. As soon as I’ve chosen the charity, what to buy is fairly easy and I tend to get them done and out of the way. I don't go overboard with stockings, mostly it’s just little bits like a notebook, calendar, book, chocolate etc. I want to buy one more thing, a decopatch dog kit I've seen and then I think she’s done. What I spent yesterday leaves £96.50 in the Christmas pot.

I think that’s about it for today. Hope you all have a good one. xx
