It was fun to do LABMUM because I could personalise it to how he was. He used to come out of his room in a right strop because he'd failed some mission or other, so I bought some M&M's and made a bottle of chill pills for him. I wrapped each thing up as a Level 1-10 and wrote a reason why I'd given it to him. I can't remember many but a deodorant had something like "Level 3 - for when those intense moments kick in and you break out in a sweat".
He's got a good sense of humour so I'm trying to do something similar but different if that makes sense. I just put bits in they'll use now and try not to go to a load of expense. xx0 -

Thanks NMCI also love my Christmas lists, thinking about what people would like and what I can do to make it a little bit different every year. I don't prolong the issue though :rotfl: It lasts 3 days in our house, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, then it's over and done with.
xx

No, it's not everybody's cup of tea Beanie. I actually prefer it now the DC's are older. It's just more relaxed somehow and family orientated. Used to hate the years when there was a toy trending that they wanted and you couldn't find it for love nor money. Very stressful. Glad all that's over with. xx0 -
Morning Everybody
Day 10/31, Prolific £2 cleared, £1.85 outstanding, Spends £28.15
A couple more surveys under my belt plus a bonus payment of £1.05 means I’m over halfway to cashing out again. :T After that, if Prolific runs to form I probably won’t get anything for 2-3 weeks.
I bought some face powder while I was out yesterday so spends are now down to £28.15.
I also picked up the books and a 2020 calendar from Card Factory. If my memory serves me right they put their Christmas cards out in August  Christmas pot is now at £97.50. Don’t think I’ll be dipping into it again for a while - my gift inspiration has been and gone for the time being.
Hope you all have a lovely day. xx0 -
You are doing great with your Christmas gifts. Luckily most of my family like money so it is fairly easy but there are those that I buy gifts for but go shopping with my sister in the last week of November and get it all them.EFC #185 - £510.00/£1000

Hi LABMUM
Yes the DC's main gift is money but they like the stocking and a surprise  The rest of the gifts are mostly for older relatives and just token offerings. Two of them on hubby's side have been getting the same thing every year since I met him over 25 years ago :rotfl: I did query this in the early days but apparently that's what they always have and if it changed they wouldn't be happy.
Your shopping trip with your sister sounds great. I'm hoping to have a shopping day with DD this year. xx0 -

Our numbers have decreased over the years as well. Some by design, some age related - nothing after 18 years old and more sadly there's only one parent to buy for - my Mum - the other 3 parents have all passed. xx0 -
