    Morning :)

    Day 18/31, Prolific £0 cleared £5.12 outstanding, Spends £29.55

I’m going through a ‘feeling energetic’ patch at the moment so I’m making the most of it and have decided to paint the internal porch. I whizzed into town yesterday to pick up a couple of sample paint pots and today I’m going back in to get the one I’ve chosen – English Sage in case anybody is wondering.

I’ll be buying what we need from the saved CC money and it should come to no more than £30 if my sums are correct. We already have the gloss so that saves us a bit. It’s not a big job and I hope to have it done over the next couple of days. I might be feeling energetic but I work a lot slower than I used to. :o

DS is on his school trip today and it’s a lunchtime finish for him tomorrow. Then it’s 47 days of slow starts before the new school year. :T Thought of the day – when did the 6 weeks holiday become more like 7?

Money wise - just waiting for all the surveys to clear and I can cash out again.

Hope you all have a lovely day. xx

One more section to go Beanie and then that's the first coat done. Then it's the bit I hate, having to do it all again. :o

Thanks Monz :) He's gone bowling and although he didn't need to be in until 9.45 him and his mates arranged to go in at the normal time to hang out, so bang went my lie in :o

I live in a predominantly white house HG so the English Sage is a bit of a shock to the system but it does look nice. I'm sure there was talk of shortening summer hols at one point, they just seem to get longer. Between the Xbox and the van and sending him into town to have a few days out with big sis, I'm hoping we'll get through it OK. xx

Haha, Maybe it should have been called United Kingdom Sage. It's green. I love any shade of green but hubby's Dad will be turning in his grave. He'd have taken one look at it and never one to mince his words would have said YUK :rotfl: xx

So, the porch is done and it didn't take that long really. I always find the worst parts of decorating are masking off and then having to do a second coat. Anyway, it’s finished and it’s looking very ‘botanical’. Luckily I’m a lover of green. :D

Total spend was £26.20 so I’m really pleased with that. I shall go shopping in the house in a while and see what bits and pieces I can find to give it a slightly different look. It’s only small and as much as I’d love to get all creative it’s a hard working area so I need to keep it pretty functional.

Both me and hubby gave DS £5 each out of our spends for his day out. He spent just over £4 but I’ve told him to keep the change. I’ve also sent DD £5 which will buy her a couple of drinks. So I’ve got £19.55 left in my purse. xx
