I've met my internet friends when they've been visiting for the day near our van. It's nice to put a face to a name isn't it. xx

    Morning :)

    Day 6/31, Prolific £3.82 cleared, Spends £0

Had a fab day with DD yesterday and the show was brilliant if a little close to the bone.:p Total spent on travel, lunch and cocktails = ALL my spends plus £12 of the savings. Worth every penny though.

I picked up a gift I’d ordered while in town so Christmas pot is now at £105 and charity pot is at £41. I’ve got a little notebook on the go to keep track of purchases from these pots which will be easier than writing everything down on here, but I'll do a monthly round up.

Quiet day in today so no spending, which is just as well. Looking forward to ‘pay day’ on Monday. :D

Hope you all have a lovely day. xx

Totally agree Kim :) I budget for everything so even a big spend is already saved for. xx

Thanks Beanie :) I'm not sure if Kim is talking about something specific I've mentioned but I think I'm pretty good at budgeting as well ;) xx

Thanks LABMUM, the whole day was brilliant apart from getting a blister from all the walking I did :o xx
  • I'm glad you enjoyed the show TF2, it sounds very glamorous with the lunch and cocktails :).

You're doing so well to have bought some Christmas presents already! Still at least I have a Christmas pot which is a first, even if there isn't much in it yet.

Thanks HHD, we had a lovely time. It's probably not as glamourous as you imagine tbh. DD is an avid bargain hunter especially where food and drink is concerned and she took me to a place where the cocktails were pretty cheap but they still hit the spot. ;) We certainly weren't sat in a posh hotel lunching like ladies :rotfl:

It's great having the Christmas pot, it means if I see something I've got the money there already to buy it. Think I'll be taking a bit more out this week for a couple of books. At this rate I'll have Christmas done and dusted before I've got DS's new uniform sorted. :D xx
