I'm wondering what to do with all DS3's belongings when he clears his uni room and comes home . It's lucky I've been de-cluttering! The food budget will take a hit too .

Glad you've had a few surveys come through :).

Yes, probably not the best time to start my shopping pot in all honesty. She's like a goat and never stops eating and what makes that more irritating is she's lovely and slim :rotfl:

We have a suitcase full of books and 2 carrier bags in the lounge at the moment. I've asked her at least half a dozen times to take them to her room. Hubby isn't as soft as me and his request will be take them to your room or I'll take them to the tip. She knows he means it so I can guarantee they'll be moved within 2 minutes of him getting involved :D xx

I've had a couple of PA too but think it'll slow soon as summer hits.

Good luck with DDs room unpack. Can you get some fruit boxes and hide it all in the loft....or her room?

Hi CG :) I've just had 2 cracking ones for £4 and £1.50 but it's really hit and miss so that could be it for another few weeks.

Some of her things can go under her bed and in her wardrobe and the rest could go in the shed with it being summer. I think pans and baking trays etc will have to be thrown out due to her severe lack of cooking skills :rotfl:

At least she's de-cluttering while she's there so she's not bringing it all home. And when I went into reception last night there was a massive sign asking for decent unwanted items/clothes so Uni could donate them to local charities which I think is a brilliant idea. Much better than just lobbing stuff out. :T xx

I think your diary is lucky.....just picked up a £3 PA survey which gets me to £5 pending. Would love 1 or 2 of this a day :rotfl:

Well done. Maybe I have the Midas touch.... for other people :rotfl: I know what you mean, I'd be happy with £1 a day but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work like that. xx

    Hi tea :)

I see you have been doing awesome like usual :) xx

Thanks K :) I'm trying my best that's for sure. I'm debating whether to divide the savings between 3 pots next month, Charity, Christmas and Target which means I could knock them off my list as they'd have what I was aiming for in them. Then I could just start the savings one again. Going to give that some serious consideration unless something crops up that I want to buy.

Hope all is well with you. xx

That's a cracking idea Beanie. DD is very much into trying charity shops first for things - from an environment point of view as well as money so she'd have definitely had a look.

My sister-in-law said she couldn't believe the amount of stuff that was piled up by the bins when she picked her DS up from uni last year. :(

I bet if there was a central point set up on campus most people would drop their stuff there for it to be passed on. xx

    Afternoon :)

    Day 5/30, Prolific £2.97 cleared, £5.50 pending, Spends 1st-7th June £35.75

Took DD to the dentist this morning and then we took a card and present to the first birthday person of the month.

Just had 2 good surveys which will give me £5.50 when they've cleared. :T

Waiting for the shopping to arrive. Hope the tagliatelle is in there because that's what's planned for tea :D Hope you've all had a good one. xx

:rotfl: Well I could rustle something on toast up, maybe the sauce I've made for the pasta :D but that would be about it. I won't be cooking anything from scratch tonight that's for sure :p xx
  • I hope your food shop is present and correct when it arrives :).

I'm hoping DS3's cooking items are in good nick as I do not want to have to buy him new ones . I don't think he did much cooking so they're probably all like new :rotfl:.

Your luck must have rubbed off on me because I've just had a £4 PA survey :T.
