so my partner and I have had our daily phone call.. he works for a branch of Marks and sparks, in the food hall.. there is no pasta or rice currently and a run on pickled eggs!!, but no one seems to be buying cous cous. lol told him it's worth buying a big bag for his store cupboard, as it doesn't need much to cook and as a base, it can be very filling.today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

I'm actually quiet nervous about these online deliveries, I feel they haven't got enough in place to deal with the demand/supply. I've just looked up first baby formula on Tescos and it's not even listed on there anymore as an option to buy it doesn't even say OOS, nor is the Aberdeen Angus mince, it looks like some things have been completely removed.7

Thrifty, if someone else can go for you, my local tesco express had loads of baby milk in stock on sunday. Hopefully your local one is the same?February wins: Theatre tickets8

I have a morries slot booked for 6-7am on 7th april. Will likely amend order before then.
In the meantime, I have signed up to milk and more and ordered a delivery of milk and a couple other bits for friday morning, with regular milk deliveries thereafter. More eco friendly anyway. So providing all goes well, may make the switch permanent.February wins: Theatre tickets5 -

I will go back into my order the day before and check whether the items are back in stock and amend my order if they are.Maybe this is me being a bit thick, but what I don't get is this. Let's say you place the order now and pay £47. Then you edit it the day before it's delivered and the total changes to £42. Does the system automatically refund you a fiver, or what?
And is it true that if there's a special offer on an item, the offer price only stands on delivery, not on the date you added it to your basket or went through checkout ?
For example on 23rd March buy something on offer from 23rd March to 29th March, but your delivery slot is 1st April then you've missed out on the offer and will be paying full price ?
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?6 -

, I sent DH at 7am on his way to work to Morries and he got some thankfully and a couple of packets of paracetamol, I think it's still readily available in stores, but I feel for the very pregnant people who aren't able to go to stores though if they need formula and it's not online, plus its expensive to stock up on if it becomes not readily available and have to wait for restocks, Boots were also sold out. Morries had it for del still, which I will now remove from my online order as we're covered for the time being, I just don't understand why it isn't listed on Tesco.

I did notice the Tesco website had a tick box for substitute or do not substitute. Another question from me, do delivery slots come available - is it ever worth checking back in an idle moment just in case ?

Definitely keep checking for slots at the moment. They are all desperately working to increase their capacity for deliveries. As they do, extra slots will become available.February wins: Theatre tickets8
