jk0 If you scroll up to the top. in the right hand corner it says "Go to category" - that gives you the list of boards, like the old "Forum jump" button on the old forum. HTH
I clicked on it just to see what it did

There doesn't seem to be an Edit button any more though, unless i just haven't found it yet!
edit: Found it! It's the thing that looks like a cog, on the dark blue bar opposite the time you posted.9 -
I was hoping my beloved old green "skin" would survive but apparently I'm using it! Not too bad on a desktop, dashed baffling on a mobile. Adapt & survive...
(But check you have tea and loo roll.)11 -
MrsLurcherwalker said:One poster mentions 'having to stock up for the third time'
That was me who said that on the prepping for Brexit thread, and it was actually a fairly jokey comment, but I think it's been taken a bit too literally!
Even though I live in a suburban area with several supermarkets within walking distance and the ability to have food delivered if I was ill - I keep a well stocked store cupboard and freezer. If something unexpected happened, we'd function perfectly normally for a couple of weeks. Then after that, we'd still be ok for provisions for at least a couple more more weeks, although some of the meals might start to get a bit eccentric.
This is my default position.
However, I pay close attention to the news and other means of information, and decide whether its necessary to increase my prepping activity. The comment about 'prepping for a third time, was relating to the fact that it's our own government action making me consider whether to up my prepping activity. Not once, or even twice, but possibly for a third time!

Have been stockpiling since the beginning of last year and am definitely keeping it as a permanent habit, whatever happens. It's incredibly handy to have stocks in as I cannot get out and about myself and have to rely on deliveries most of the time.In relation to Coronavirus, we'll have to wait and see whether it establishes itself outside China. I'd certainly rather not have it as I am hypothyroid and have a wheeze in my chest (from mould exposure I think, as we had a bad patch hidden under ceiling wallpaper in our dining room and it was at that time I started wheezing). I don't know if anyone has posted this, it's a daily-updated map of Coronavirus cases worldwide.14

Yep, there's a fair few glitches with all this. I've been out doing some akshul prepstering - a new vacuum cleaner, yay, and my tinned veg restock is happening from a Lidl, *so* much cheaper than Sains. I may also have bought some veggie crisps, they're very, very Very Nice

Lurking loupy here. Need some advice about storing tins and jars in a wooden summer house. I've checked them today and the tins have condensation on them so I'm a bit worried about keeping stuff in there. Problem is we don't have room in the house. Do you think if they are well clear of the floor they would be less 'sweaty' or if I kept th inside plastic lidded boxes they would fare better?Won 2011: Annual tastecard membership :T10

I'd definitely get them up off the floor, and regard plastic storage boxes as being ideal homes to moths & moulds. (Lock & lock are different, but they hold the in use daily stuff, not the to be left til called for!) The proper circulation of air should discourage condensation, but summer house construction can be variable. Can you get a bookcase in there to hold stuff up & well off the floor? Mind, then possibly visible & a temptation.9
