My passport was issued in 2002 I just filled in the visa waiver on the plane no problems, just 3 weeks ago,As for the tickets I got a good deal on all my tickets all though it did take a time share meeting, looking around I still found you should buy the tickets you need, in the states I paid $212 for a 5 day base ticket just over £100 ish and that covered MK twice Epcot, Animal Kingdom and MGM Hollywood, this ticket still lasted 14 days after first use so you dont really need a 14 day ultimate ticket if you not intending to do all the disney parks.0

Hi does anyone know if we will need a visa to enter the states for two weeks as i've been told you need the new passports with the biometric chips on it, my mates passport and mine was issued in 2002 so does not have it
apologies if this has already been asked
thank you!
No you do not need a visa if you hold british passports, we went over last xmas, my children hold the new chipped passports, myself and husband don't ours were issued back in 1999. We had no problems at all, all non U.S citizans fill out a card on board before landing Thats it.0 -
Can anyone recommend a location for a villa.
My partner and I are going for 2 weeks on the 18th September, been looking at villa sites but are not sure of the best locations. We intend on going to the Universal parks for several days and shopping.
Could anyone recommend a particular development?
All advise is appreciated!0 -

Cor!! How long is a piece of string!!!
Try www.lastminutevillas.net, put your dates into there search let the villa owners get hold of you.find a villa you like and can afford and go from there.
We dislike the 192 area only because it is so damn busy. But then I dislike the northern I27 above the 192. Poinciana Boulavard has some great developements. Terre Verde, Indian Ridge and Point. and Poinciana is easy to go straight up onto the 535 and then I4 straight to Universal.
Nowadays we prefer down the I27 in Davernport or Winterhaven only because its quieter people are nicer and far more helpful.
Hope that helps, we have been going for over 20 years now and we are still finding new things to do. I only wish there had been an internet when we first went.:T :beer:Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
We are going to Florida for a week, as an add on to our package holiday, so we have to arranage accomodation ourselves. Just wondering if anyone has booked rooms with 'Priceline' and if so what type of price did you quote and was the rooms ok as I belive you don't know the hotel name until you've paid.
Or does anyone have any other recommedations for booking reasonable priced rooms.0 -

Depends what your definition of reasonable is.
If you've only got a week, my advice would be to decide what attractions you want to visit and look for a hotel in a location close by.
If you don't know where the hotel is until after you've booked, you could end up stuck miles away from the attractions you want to visit and will waste alot of time time travelling .2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

We have used Priceline 'name your own price' and did very well. They tell you after you have paid whether or not you have been successful, if I remember rightly its only one bid a day. But dont take any notice of their 'suggested price' ludicrous. Bid very low it will give you some idea and work up, you can always pay more but never less!!! And price up villas can often work out cheaper than a decent hotel!!
Good luck.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Thanks atro 1 for that, never thought about a villa thought they would be well out of our price range, good idea to book really low, it will give us a feel of how the system works.0
