We found it quicker to get to Haines City than along the 192. From the Disney parks.
But it was a bit of a shock going into Walmart walgreens and CVS--no Disney . We was told they dont stock that tourist stuff!!

DD you must take into account that just over a year ago petrol was just over a 1$ a gallon now its well over $3. Just think if our petrol had gone up by 300%. £3 a litre can you imagine the choas and the price rises we would all face. Well it is the same for the yanks. Its not pretty, everywhere there are forclosures men being laid off. In March 8000 men were laid off from the construction industry alone. They are having to tighten their belts and sadly they are not very good at it.

My understanding is that yes, you will need visas.

    have a look here
    http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/niv/mrp_bio.html

If you need a visa, the application fee is currently $131. Renewing your passport costs £72. For the sake of a fiver's difference I'd get the new biometric passport, save faffing about with a visa application, and you've got it sorted for the next 10 years and 9 months!

:o Sorry, didn't realise machine readable passports were being issued that far back (doesn't time go by faster the older you get!)

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

    Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas on where i can get good priced flights from for Easter 2009. Just been looking at British Airways and Virgin - they are SO expensive - i know it's because it's Easter but we're going with 2 teachers so we have to go in Easter holidays only. We're needing to leave on the 4th April 2009, coming back on the 18th April 2009.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. xxx
