For anyone looking for tickets and considering the Flex/FlexPlus, check out the Orlando Combo Ticket from Attraction Tickets Direct. Available in 4-park or 5-park to compete with the Flex/plus, the only difference is it doesn't cover Wet'n'Wild... (Bovvered lol!)

The 5-park ticket (Universal, IOA, Seaworld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens) is going for £149 which is £30 cheaper than the cheapest available FlexPlus that I've managed to find! Actual tickets, free delivery, and no credit card fees :D

Just the Disney tickets to sort out now...

Lynneth - we got our Disney tickets, 14 days Ultimate for $1038 for three of us - depending on exchange rate and card fees that might be cheap enough for you. They're real tickets, arrived 4 days after we ordered them, from https://www.undercovertourist.com.

OMG Stu, you have got to be joking? Its iconic, its magical its one of the best rides ever devised and implemented and the upgrade they are carrying out is going to make it even better.

Remember its not all about the thrill but its about the theme and magic! :)

Can anyone suggest the best way of sourcing Satnav for US driving. I drove last year and the driving itself was fine but navigation was a real struggle. I don't have satnav just now but would consider buying and adding US maps to it. I have also looked at hiring but it seems to be about £90 for 2 weeks, I would rather buy for a wee bit more than pay that price for it. Alternatively can anyone recommend a car hire firm that includes it as an optional extra?

    Any help appreciated.

Four options...... 1) buy a cheap one from Wal Mart or Best Buy for under 100 bucks. Prob with them is that they normally have small screens and lack some detail.

    2) If you have Tom Tom then you can buy the US maps for around 30 quid. We have an old 720 and the US maps were bought and downloaded onto a SD card and bobs your uncle

    3) borrow one from a friend, even if they have a Tom TOm and you offer to buy the US maps?

    4) rent one, though not from the car rental place but do a Google search there are lots of palces that will rent them for a couple of weeks

    Hi all.

Can anyone help me please with info to book a hire car for Orlando? We land @ Sanford mid Aug 09 for 21 days. What is a good price for a vehicle for 4 people, say one above the smallest, to include ALL charges like LDW and CDW as I've heard it's cheaper to pay these on booking rather than once you get there, if they are indeed necessary in the first place.

Sorry to ask such an open question but I'm a little naive on this subject to say the least. Any help on the cheapest, safest and easiest way to do is gratefully appreciated.

    Thank you

I was about to answer and saw Simon (from the Brits Guide fame) beat me to it :) Basically I would try the comparasion sites The cheapest I am finding at the moment is www.carhireflorida.net but they are all pretyy good. Travelsupermarket.com is good as well but only lets you pick up and drop off at the same place which is not much use to me.

I would have thought about 350 quid or less woudl be the price I woudl pay for that period for an intermeadiate car.

    Cheers

Has anyone stayed at the highlands reserve golf resort? I've seen a great deal for a villa there but not sure what the area is like.

Also, does anyone know if it wold be better to visit in June or Sept?

    Many thanks

Its on the 27 and not in a bad position. It was built by Lennar who are excellent and the Villas are all top drawer. As for which month. Either would be nice. Depends on the price!

    Cheers
