    Hi,

I need help from someone who has recently been to Florida, stayed at Disney and flown with Virgin.

We are going in September and I was reading somewhere that you have to reserve the Magical Express service, do you?
And if so, how do I reserve it?

    Thanks

I used it a few years ago but had booked direct with Disney and booked it via them so I'd think you need to book this through Virgin, try asking them first, if not phone Disney and ask them.

im booked with jetsave but i am flying with virgin and staying in disney.
my magical express was booked by virgin at the time i booked, i didnt have to ask for it. just get in touch with your travel agent and make sure you have the disney transfers from airport to resort.
you used to get a nice little pack from disney with the luggage labels and bits in but the credit crunch has stopped that, and now you pick up the labels from the orlando disney desk (at orlando airport) put them on the luggage and then give them over to disney staff, who take it and it 'magically' appers in your room! hopefully.

    Hi,

I'll be visiting Florida for the first time next year and am wondering whether to stay on I-Drive or in Kissimmee.

Our children are quite young (8 and 4), and we will be booking a condo / apartment style property.

I-Drive is obviously appealing as everything is right on our doorstep. However, with young kids I wonder if Kissimmee might be a slightly quieter more relaxed place to stay. Also, from the brochures at least, Old Town Kissimmee looks like a good place to be for those days when we want a break from the parks. Is Kissimmee a good place with a young family. We would quite like to be able to walk out early evening to local restaurants etc.

Also, we plan to spend time venturing further afield (eg the coasts), rather than just doing parks every day.

Was wondering about the Cane Island resort in Kissimmee - just got a good quote from Virgin for it, and it does well on tripadvisor.

If I go for I-Drive I like the look of Renaissance resort at Seaworld, or Hilton Grand Vacations, but haven't had a quote yet and I suspect both may be on the expensive side !

Thanks - any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

i was due to go ou to orlando on monday 18 may, just had a phone call from my TA, jetsave have just phoned to say they cant oofer me the original resort (allstars music) as its full up.*we booked this holiday 10 months ago* all they could offer was the allstars sports, which isnt a place we want to stay (we have visited all the allstars and would nevr go to sports as its shabby and old) we told them we weent happy with that, and want eith Pop, musi c or movies (all equivalent ratings) they said they cant as they are full as well! turns out they have only just got round today to book us in with disney music, and obviously this late stage they are full. they have offered us £40(0.5 percent of our total holiday cost!) each if we go to sports , which we really dont want to do, but with only 5 days before we fly out they have us over a barrell, what should we do? i have had a look in tinernet for others but theres nothing avavilable.
