Going to check on Monday whether it would be possible to schedule an appointment for Dublin as their waiting time for appointments is only 9 days compared to Belfast and London's 38-40. I notice the phone no. is £1.20 per minute and then $131 for the visa. I think this must be their answer to getting America out of the recession:rolleyes:

Has anyone stayed at (or know someone who has) Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa.
I like the look of it as I do not want to spend our holiday in one room(there are 5 of us) we would be at each other after a few days!!
The fact it has kitchen and washing machine really appeals and is only 5mins drive to wdw.
Any one know what it is like??
    Many thanks
Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

I've not stayed here myself but I've heard positive things; it is in a good location for WDW & I Drive though there are not many eateries within walking distance, if that matters to you?

My favourite accommodation if you are looking for this type (condo style with kitchen & washing machine) is Cypress Pointe in Lake Buena Vista. It's even closer to WDW and there are quite a few restaurants you can walk to. I've booked in the past through www.hotelopia.co.uk and www.hotels.com for as little as £36 per night for a 3 bedroom condo. That was when the exchange rate was better but I would have thought you could still find it for a reasonable price.

Wow, you dont look for a wee hile and it goes mad :)

OK, VISAs...... Let me try and help a little with what I know and from when I got mine a few years ago...

    - remembery ou will have to complete ESTA, of this is OK then you will be OK but still need to complete the green i94w form for the time being, if you have a conviction then techically you can not use the visa waiver and need to get teh approval to travel from teh embassy
    - if ESTA says no then you need to either re apply later on (which may not help or contact hte US Embassy)
    - if can take 6 months yes for a general application but you can always expdiate. There is ways to get VISA apposintsments within a week if need be.
    - depends on what type of VISA you have. Mine is a shared B1 / B2 and is valid for 10 years, not the lenght of my passport. So when my passport is repalced I will just carry my old passport with teh IVSA nad the new passport. Thats no problem
    - yes people do go to teh USA with convistions (have you seen the state of some of the people over there now LOL) and yes you HAVE to tell them about it before and cehck with the emabassy But of course many dont and many get in. BUT and this is very important, if you do not tell them and they know becuase they are the US of A and know everything then you could be kicked out at the airport and that will not be good.
    - if you are really stuck then vertain lawyers are very good at this. I use Evan Wallace at work and are specialists adn not overly expensive.

Have a look here and if need give them a call and ask for Julie. She can put your mind at rest and let you know what you need to and help you apply. Their fees are reallty not that bad and they will get you in as soon as you need too.

I know Julie quite well so to save a call at a quid a min give her a buzz and ask her. I am sure she will help or at least give a steer for free :)
