Got an appointment booked with the embassy in Belfast on the 24th June:D Should say that the waiting times on the embassy site are pretty far out for London as it says that it is currently 38 days but in actual fact, the soonest is 16th July!! Flights booked....just got to keep our fingers crossed that we don't come across any more problems0

As for the Brits abroad, well again that's "some". Yes some are dreadful but I woudl have thought they are dreadful here as well.
But I stand by my over reaction point. Take Swine Flu. | Central Florida sold out of face masks two days after the first reported case in Mexico! Mmmmmm
Cheers
I don't know what you mean mate. I have spent months in the Southern States of US and the Western/Central states and have never thought this. Maybe its just in Florida?
I think pre 9/11 Americans thought they were invincible, post 9/11 they have realised they are as vulnerable as the rest of the world.0 -
Hiya,
Have booked to go to Florida in a couple of weeks, normally we fill in the green slip of paper but when booking on line it said you had to go to the usa web site and fill in a waiver form, well I dont know if I have done it right cos all it asked me was at what date I got my new passport, its one of the new ones and chipped and then it never asked me anymore questions, have i done this correctly does anyone know???
thanks

Sounds like you have filled in a passport validity questionnaire - To see if you are eligible for the VWP.
You need to go to here:
https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/esta.html?_flowExecutionKey=_cAE178816-0053-8A3B-DFF7-E9B2EE6B1A4B_k1C42D4CA-7A72-CCE3-9D05-08822E0B07BD
and fill it in for each traveller.
It's free and takes only a few minutes.0 -
Would be interested to hear if they are still asking for the green forms - we did our ESTAs but still had to fill in the green form on the plane, and that was on 27 March!0

Hi,
I need help from someone who has recently been to Florida, stayed at Disney and flown with Virgin.
We are going in September and I was reading somewhere that you have to reserve the Magical Express service, do you?
And if so, how do I reserve it?
Thanks0 -

This very question posed difficulties for a user earlier in the year. I know she/he found the solution and said what it was.
Its def on this thread somewhere.0 -
