A question about baggage allowances. We're flying with Continental and I read that there's a fee for checking in each bag. So I was planning on just taking the one case for all three of us. This would make the bag pretty heavy though, so my question is, can we add all our baggage allowances together? So in effect we could take one bag worth 210lb rather than 3 worth 70lb?Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

unlikely. i know that isnt allowed for hand luggage, and im guessing there are health and safety limits on weights that baggage handlers can handle...0 -

Everyone in our house is very excited as we've just booked for 2 weeks at Bahama Bay from 30 May 2010 ! Our first trip to Orlando and we can't wait!
Jetsave did it for £3,005 (for 2 adults plus 2 children, including full size car with insurance and Virgin flights), which I thought was pretty good - a lot less than I was quoted elsewhere.
Now I just need to figure out what theme park tickets to buy - yet more research.
To decide which parks to visit, I think I'll buy a guide book; can anyone recommend a guide book that gives a good run down of all the parks?
Thanks0 -
birnbaums offical disney walt disney world guide book is very good, its aimed at the american visitor, but its a great book, lots on info, maps, tips, and big pictures!
the brits guide is also very good, as this covers orlando not just disney parks.0 -
Hi everyone,
just wanted a little advice. I have got the D.Cove ultimate ticket and universal 2 park ticket but we were thinking that we might want to visit Typhoon Lagoon when we go at the end of next month. Where and how do I get a ticket for just one Disney water park as all i have seen are 7 days tickets.
thanks x
Any reason why Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach? When we went, as much as we enjoyed the swimming with sharks and the main pool, I prefered the slides at BB. (Must admit that I missed out on Crush'n'Gusher though - drama back at the Villa)
Which Water park does everyone else prefer?
And Dazzer - any more news on your holiday? You must be stressed!0 -
Thanks for the advice re guidebooks - I'll buy one.
I'm struggling to work out the best way to buy tickets. We'll probably ideally want to visit parks on say 8 or 9 or our days there (allowing for a couple of visits further afield and couple of rest days).
But like most people, the parks we want to visit will be 2 or 3 from each of Disney, some Universal, some Flexticket etc. etc. and it seems like overkill to buy the full unlimited passes for all these.
Maybe I'm better off just buying day tickets for the individual parks that we want?0 -
