Hi Blink
I started a reply to you on this yesterday mate but got waylayed.
Rather than Daytona if you are Disney what about the Disney Petty experience by MK.
I know that now they even have the 1 + 1 F1 Car (well indy car) where you sit behind the driver and he canes it around the track, there is even a version where you get the drive the car yourself and cane it around the track or into a wall LOL.

Hi
does anyone know when the best time will be to purchase tickets for 'Mickeys Very Merry Christmas' at MK and is it any good!!
thanksback to comping :beer:0 -
Having been to sunny Orlando every year since 2000, I am so excited for anyone visiting for their first time, whatever your age!
The magic and excitement of your first trip will stay with you forever and, mark my words, you'll want to return again and again!
A quick tip for eating out and shopping, Google some of the well known eateries (eg. Sizzler, IHOP, Ponderosa, CiCi's) and stores you may visit (eg. Prime Outlets, Macys, Nordstrom, JC Penney). Sign up to their newsletters via their website and receive discount coupons galore!
I did this last year and saved several $$$'s.
Some coupons require that you spend a specified amount before the discount is added. Be shrewd, print out a few copies and split the transaction if required (eg. $5 off when you spend over $50, will still only take off $5 if you actually spend $100. If you divide the transaction into two lots of $50 value, you can use two coupons, one on each transaction and save $10)
It's 7.5wks until my next visit and I cannot wait! xx :rotfl:0 -

We are due to arrive on 2nd July and I was wondering whether there were any suggestiosn for which park is the best for 4th July? We have got tickets for almost all of the parks, WDW etc, US/IOA, SW etc etc but I am not sure which would be the best for experiencing the 4th July in? Have two DD's aged 9 so don't want them to be too overwhelmed right at the beginning of the holiday!
Also, what is the best way to take our money over there? Is it better to take it all in cash or would you suggest we take travellers cheques/credit cards etc? Am planning to take approx £2500 for 23 days really only to cover food and shopping. We have a couple of kids eat free cards - anyone have any experience of using them? Were they ok? Was the choice of eateries any good?
There are so many good tips on here I know our holiday will be fantastic!:j
Thanks,
Jody
WATCH OUT FOR bLACKOUT DAYS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT PASSES - Most parks will "upcharge" for certain dates (Thanksgivingand if you've bought the wrong tickets they will not allow you in anyway (not without paying more).
See my other thread for info before you travel also.
Although mainly Florida – a lot of the info in these postings relate to general Travel Insurance & Medical Issues – worth a read – I may be able to help.
I am an Ex-Pat Brit (Hertfordshire) living and working in Florida. I work for a major Hospital group (7 hospitals and 14 urgent care clinics around the Orlando area) dealing with all you tourists that holiday here and then go home leaving medical bills behind you unpaid.
My job is to track you down and get the bills paid and I deal with UK insurers many times each day. No matter what your horror story is, I’ve heard them all and Brits usually have the same story to tell.
I am officially a Debt Collector, and that usually scares people. Don’t be worried, it is usual business here in Florida to use debt collection agencies. If you get a letter or call from a debt collector remember DO NOT IGNORE THEM – CONTACT THEM IN THE WAY THEY ASK – don’t assume e-mail is ok the privacy laws state we have to have a verbal confirmation or “ink” signature to confirm you are the patient or other person entitled to the information. The law is on their (or their clients) side, and in ANY case YOU the patient, are responsible for your own debts NOT your insurance company.

Re: Connecting Flights
I flew to Louisville in the Summer via Atlanta, and had to take my bag from one conveyer belt, to another one...i didnt need to re-check them in or anything... It was dead easy.
On the way back i checked in at JFk and had to change at ATL and never saw my bag until LGW!0 -
Hi,
Quick question: Why don't Disney hotels have free interent access?
I travelled through America last year and stayed in some quite cheap hotels- Red Roofs, Super 8s, YMCA's and they all had either free Wi-Fi or a business centre- sure, you had to pay for the one at YMCA but it was only $1 for ten minutes...yet at Disney no Internet access?
I see you can pay $10 for 24hrs access, but even that is difficult to set up?
Anyone know of anywhere to get free wi-fi? Is there a Starbucks in Disney?! lol...0 -

Imagine a giant vacuum cleaner aimed squarely at your wallet/bank account!
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WDW ( :j ), just understand that they exist to part you from your money with the most amazing efficiency! :rotfl:2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

List here of Disney internet access followed by a list of wifi elsewhere in Orlando including the location of Starbucks.

You'll also find internet cafes in most of the shopping centres.0
