KSC is absolutely fantastic. I never ate with an astronaut but i know for a fact you can do it.

Everyone there went out of their way to make you feel welcome and just couldn't do enough. They were extremely passionate about their job and more than willing to answer any question.

nb Make sure you go on the shuttle launch sim. Its amazing!

Disabled people are God in the USA. You don't queue for absolutely anything. Im not kidding, its something that really winds me up - Disabled people go straight to the front of the queue. Any queue anywhere.

    Hi there

Here is some info on scooter rental in Orlando - should be a start!

I think you're right to identify the need for an ECV (scooter). The parks are massive - as you obviously know - and it will make life much easier for you. Have fun :)

Haven't done Lunch With An Astronaut, but highly recommend the Up Close Tour - they take you to places you wouldn't get to see on the normal tour - we have done both and the Up Close is definitely worth the extra $.

thanks karen really useful info there. We remember how much we walked before (which was becoming hard even on the last visit) and recognise we would not be able to do anything much without a scooter. This visit is going to take more planning than prevous ones and we wont be able to fit as much in, but we are going to have fun
    thank you
