    Hi

I am trying to price fly drive for 4 adults to florida next easter 3/4/10 for 2 weeks

Cheapest I have found is 887 per adult with thomas cook

Anyone know where I might get a better deal

    Lesley

Although you can now get flydrive quotes, the scheduled flights are not yet released for Easter 2010 - you will need to wait until 11 months before the date of your return journey.

I have been to Florida the last two Easters and no way would I pay £887 per adult  We have paid between £400 - £500 per adult and in this current economic climate you may get a better deal than that.

Ways to save money: fly indirect, don't fly at weekends, but you are a little early to get the best deals yet. As already mentioned, if you can fly out before Easter you'll save even more.
  • Hi Karen

Where do you suggest is the best place to search for flights to florida easter 2010 when they are released. Have to go in easter hols unfortunately due to gcses

    Ta Lesley
    Nice to save.

    Hi folks

I'm planning to go florida for a week or 10 days sometime this year but having never been i'm really confused as to the different parks and ticket options, ideally i would like to do disneyland, universal studios and all the normal touristy attractions, can anyone advise on the best ticket package and what i need to look out for (inclusions etc) , thanks in advance.

the first thing to figure out is exactly how long you are going for and which parks you really want to see. Also, what is the make up of the party?

Doing parks everyday is really tiring so much as to make it not worth while. When we go we work on the principle of 1 park day, 1 rest/shopping day, especially with small kids.

If you are going for 10 days, personally I wouldn't do more than 5 parks, once you have factored in arriving days, and leaving days and rest days. Then decide what you want to do parkwise and then see which is more cost effective. You can't get one ticket that will do Disney & Universal, so you will need at least 2 tickets.

(As we are only doing 2 Disney Parks, it was cheaper for us to get 2 day tickets direct from Disney than any of the tickets you can get in the UK).

Hope that gives you are starting point

Will be much busier and more expensive at Easter..... what about going straight after gcses are done, late may/ early June? Weather still not too hot and not peak prices.

Guys - how good is Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios?

I have planned out our fortnight, but the only thing I am having trouble fitting in is getting to HS to see Fantasmic on a day that isn't a Magic Hour's day? Would people recommend missing Fantasmic to avoid a MH day?

(There is supposed to be a rocket launch whilst we are out there, so we want to go to Kennedy to see this, but it is causing havoc with the rest of my schedule ;)

Do not miss this...it is the best disply of all the parks!!! IMO its is fatasmic!!!:j :j :j

    Hiya :)

I'm looking for car hire from Orlando airport. Hubby would like a Hummer for a fortnight. I've checked some of the regular companies (121/Alamo etc. ) but no joy. :(

Should i be looking for a specific company and is there one in particular?
