    Hi Karen

Where do you suggest is the best place to search for flights to florida easter 2010 when they are released. Have to go in easter hols unfortunately due to gcses

    Ta Lesley

    Hi Lesley

I like www.kayak.co.uk which gives you a comparison for most (all?) flight prices. I also use www.opodo.co.uk and www.expedia.co.uk to give myself a benchmark to aim for.

    Good luck!

Personal choice, but between October and May I would. So yes, I would get the pool heated at Easter.
  • Thanks for that I think your right.

    DISNEYLAND is in CALIFORNIA
    DISNEYWORLD is in FLORIDA!
so if you want advice to go to disney world say disney world, otherwise you might get advice for disney land.
    disneyworld : magic kingdom
    animal kingdom
    hollywood studios
    epcot
    blizzard beach
    typhoon lagoon
    seaworld : seaworld
    aqautica
    universal : universal studios
    universal island of adventures.
    yes other parks are available!

Lol, yes that can be very very annoying when people keep talking about 'Disneyland' when they actually mean Disney World :rotfl:

Are you able to park at Downtown Disney and then get a shuttle to the parks? I came across an auction on ebay for info on how to get free parking at Disney World. While its only 99p for the auction I dislike paying for info which I'm sure is freely available on the web. A search came up with parking at Downtown Disney as its free. However I can't confirm this info. If true it will quite a bit in April.
  • No, the buses the DTD go the resorts and not the parks. You could of course get a Disney bus from the resort to whichever park you want to go to.

I was talking about this issue with a cast member friend last time I was in WDW. Here are the ways I know of to get free parking:

    1. Stay at a Disney Hotel
    2. Buy an annual pass (does not apply to Fl residents whose passes are cheaper)
    3. Go in the evening when the parking attendant has gone off duty (beware, doesn't always work, depends on the park and evening activities).
    4. Go to Downtown Disney and Transfer to a hotel, then get a bus from the resort to the theme park.

In the case of the last, there are more and more people doing this and it is now causing problems for people trying to go to Downtown to shop, so I don't think it will be long before you have to show your room key to get on the bus to a resort. As a Disney guest I can tell you this is frustrating and I am sure that Disney is getting complaint letters about it, as you can stand in line to get a bus to your resort after parades/ fireworks and find you can't get on because the people in front aren't actually staying at the resort and are just using your resort for the free transfer. This is particularly frustrating for Disney Vacation Club members, as we are paying for transport as part of our fees. The checking of room keys may not happen however, and at the moment it certainly is a loophole.

Your best bet may be to price up an annual pass vs the cost of a multi-day pass and see if once you factor in the parking costs it works out cheaper. You could always get one for your party, and use this to get discounts on dining and certain stores for everyone. If it is a margin call, you would only need one per car/family.
