I have just hired one for £35 (£30) for one week from rentasatnav.com. I found the address when I hired the car from usrentacar.com. They download all the florida maps onto it and deliver it to your home address in the UK and then you return it (included in the cost) when you come home.0

Just tried that, but at £60 for 2 weeks it would be about as cheap to buy the maps.
Great if you don't already have a Sat Nav tho0 -
hi disney cjd
thank you for your reply we are flying with virgin on the 16th so could you pass the details on i tried to search but only came up with the ba rules for broken bones which states 48 hours after a break so we have 2 weeks before we go but she is struggling to get around today so fingers crossed she is walking abit better when we leave.0 -
was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy disney tickets and universal ticket in florida rather than purchasing them prior to flying. Can anyone recommend a place to buy these tickets from and how much money i could possibly save by buying the tickets this way. thanks0

Hi Michelle,
Please check the prices of wheelchair hire before you leave. I've had a broken big toe and it was nigh impossible to walk on. You can hire wheelchairs at Disney, but they'll metaphorically charge you an arm and a leg for it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? my sister and brother in law live in panama city florida which offers no direct flights, to fly manchester atlanta then panama city is expensive. so i looked at the option of getting a package flydrive to orlando which is far better value but all the best prices are for 2 people. I wondered if there was anyone fancied going halves on a holiday with car and hotel, id take the car, you take the hotel.im looking at going in june for 2 weeks0

Hi Mike,
Can't share cost of holiday with you, but have you looked at taking an internal flight out of Orlando? I've done this to Talahassee via Chataqua airlines (that may not be the correct spelling, but they are a Delta partner). The flights were cheap, reliable and a quick way of reaching the Panhandle. Don't know if you could get similar to Panama City, but if not, at least Talahassee is a lot closer. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Mike, I must apologise, it looks as though Chautauqua (which should be the right spelling) is not currently operating its Orlando flights, flights via Atlanta (Delta) and Tampa (Continental) look pretty expensive (c$300).
Updated to add: alternatively you can get flights from London to Tallahassee (with one change) for about $600 in June. Flights from Manchester and to Panama City look like you'll spend all your time changing planes. Would brother and sis-in-law be willing to drive to Tallahassee (83 miles) to pick you up?Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? delta did do an internal flight from orlando to panama city but seem to have canceled the service. i dont mind driving there though, its about 6 hours which is probalby as quick as getting a flight to talahassee then driving from there.0 -
