Not taking to much stuff so baggage allowance doesnt need to be too much just worried about if anything happens over there as medical help seems to cost so muchNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0 -
Hello bettyboopdaloop
I'll move your thread to the 'Travel, Trips & Holidays' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Hi Gruddalo
Its a different ticket in teh US to here. The UK tickets are basically an all you cna eat ticket, you go as many times as you like withina set number of days. In teh US its different. You buy a base ticket for so many days and then you add options like hoppers, never expire etc.
At themoment the Disney website is playing silly games and you can not get to the US site but with the dollar rate who knows.
I do know from memory a single day is 75 dolalrs plus tax and I think two days are 119 but that coudl be wrong

When I went to orlando last year, I'd intended to get a 13 day, disney/seaworld uber pass of doom, but Premier travel misunderstood "park tickets" and insisted "tickets for the resorts are provided in the hotel price" which later transpired to be the HOTEL's resort, rather than the actual theme parks, leaving me and my friend in a disney hotel with no tickets to any theme parks.
This actually turned out better than I could have hoped, however, because we blagged a free ticket into magic kingdom, which we completed in one day, leading us to realise that a 4 day "1 park per day" disney ticket was all we needed each, plus a 4 day universal ticket, which worked out far cheaper than we'd budgeted for.
If youre going to orlando without kids, off peak, I'd recommend 8 days of 'doing parks' because you can do EVERYTHING in that time if you plan it right, and have a few days to rest in between. You'll need it, because it's so hot there, my poor english body was in shock and in need of a good swim.0 -
