how can you worry about the expense, its a romantic night for the pair of you. You are very much in line for a pot full of trouble if the partner sees that comment.
Book a good hotel thats doing a half price offer but tell her you paid in full.
Craig should be able to help you out.
Alas Mrs Blink is being made redundant this week - thank god the rest of the holiday is paid for. The hard bit is going to be finding somewhere that is doing a good deal when we are ready to book.0 -

Don't know if you are interested as it isn't strictly MSE, but when I was at WDW last week American Idol was in soft opening, as was Kim Possible. They weren't yet on the park maps but you could try them out.
American Idol (at Hollywood Studios) has several shows, roughly one per hour. The best acts each hour then go into a final show that evening, to win a front of line pass to an audition. We saw one of the earlier (non-final) shows and the standard was pretty good and it was worthwhile going.
With Kim Possible you register at a field station and get a "Kimmunicator" to work on an assignment where you work out clues. Each mission is based in a different World Showcase pavilion and there are currently seven different missions. I think it is aimed at kids, but most of the people doing it were adults. The missions were fun, but once you've done them you'd remember them next time round, so there's not really scope to do them regularly. Each takes approx half an hour to complete. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Thanks Atro1 - Hiya Blink
Here is what I woudl suggest..... i would stay at the Marriott on Sand Key. Its a beaustiful hotel in a great location and the staff are super. When we stayed there we watned a nice non chain resturant for dinner adn the conciege suggesed a plae called Villa Gallace in Indian Rocks, about a 15 min drive done one road.

Now it dont look much from teh outside BUT its owned by a proper italian from italy (not york)and he greats you, seats you (and its lovely inside) and then they will cook anything you like,
It really was the nicest meal I have had in Florida, in fact when we go back to Clermint we will drive toClearwater for the day and then have dinner here.
What I like about the marriott is it has a kinda artdeco feel, its a suite hotel and it you tell them its a special occasion they will go over the top. When we stayed there our key stopped working so they brought us the best cheese and biccies and some cookies for the kids and a bottle of wine. Cant complain

I am sure you can get a decent price direct from Marriott as they have a price gtee or try the old chesnuts like hotels.com etc
Hope this helps and have funnuudge nidge

Sorry, forgot to mention. We go to Disney each January, but this year it has been really cold (as in minus, in our degrees). Even though we took fleeces and jumpers, we had to buy gloves, hats and warmer gloves than the ones we had taken over there. There is another cold snap coming through the state this weekend, so if you are going soon, please make sure that you take warm clothes with you. Its due to be cold overnight both Friday and Saturday (though thankfully not as bad as we had) and there are a number of these little fronts coming through.
